Not really anything specific. I am 3 years now into my loc journey. Just love looking at your videos wile I am having dinner. Whatever you are inspired to do I just love it. Seeing your hear mature gives me joy. It’s a real journey

@@Chanrobyn.so far for the most part it’s going ok. There are a few things which I don’t like. Sometimes I feel like taking it down when I focus on the imperfections but as time passes I’m realizing that imperfections are not always bad. I would usually get lots of compliments. ‘I’ve had to combine a few because of thinning.

Hey! Thank you for your comment☺️ Do you self retie? I’m thinking of using the 4 point with the locs in the middle of my head due to their thickness. They’re my thickest locs compared to the others & thank you for this! I’ll try steaming, I think I need a steam cap or something. What do you use for steaming?

@@Chanrobyn.yes, I do self retie but once or twice a year I’ll go to a professional for maintenance to fix mistakes I’ve made. I use a portable hair dryer/steamer got it from amazon or sometimes I’ll just use a plastic bag after washing and sit under my dryer for 15 minutes on low heat. Yes, I think that’s a great idea to use the 4-point rotation for the bigger locs, it will look more uniform over time.

Okay I might visit Yours tomorrow, yes I’ve made the mistake of buy Rose essence before so I’ll have a look and stock up ☺️ it’s about 25 mins drive for me so I might get 5 bottles lol. Your locs are so beautiful! I still remember when I bumped into you at Fosse park ☺️ I’ll definitely share if I visit the London location, I’m so happy with how the appointment went in Barbados. It was so nice to get my locs retightened in one sitting, no more aching arms for me!! 😂 I’ve recorded a video for that but haven’t managed to upload it yet.

@@Chanrobyn. that would be great to see, for 5 years solid I’ve maintained my own hair & thank you I do love them. I wish I was brave enough when I installed them to have a few more but over the years have managed to split a few & make extensions with my sons hair so I wouldn’t comb them out maybe tweak them & add some extra. ☺️

@@Chanrobyn. ok my favourite rosewater is in a glass bottle it’s £2.10 called Anjoman rosewater it says on bottle 100% pure & natural you get 500ml in that one. The other is called Aani rosewater 800ml comes in a plastic bottle that one does contain an essence oil but says you can use on face & it’s been fine on my hair almost finished that one then will switch back to the Anjoman brand. Good luck hope you find some. ☺️
