Great video & demo. I have a similar rack & bought a low pulley. Had a hard time figuring out a setup & how to reduce slack. You just really simplified this & helped me figure it out. Thank you!
Nice job on your videos and outlining the functionality of the dip feature. As you stated, the manufacturer or instruction manual doesn't outline that capability. It was also innovative to watch your demo to add a lower pulley cable system on the fitness gear pro half rack. Keep up the creativity!
Mam this rocks. All of the other instruction 9f how to do this make it so you have to be on the side of the power rack. But I have a similar setup to him where I don't have extra room on the sides. Thanks man
Thank you so much for this video!❤️ I have been trying to figure out why I couldn’t get the correct setup I did what you showed by moving the top to the opposite side. Worked like a charm afterwards. Literally watched 5 other videos where they were supposedly showing and this was the only one that actually walked you through. Thanks again!
I purchased this same half rack about 3 weeks ago. Then, last week I was looking for some pulley systems on Amazon and came across the Archon 2 pulley set. I ended up buying that and some of their attachments (lat bar, small straight bar, triangle attachment, and tricep rope). Decided today to look at how others are attaching their pulley systems to their racks and came across your video using the exact same stuff! Perfect timing! One question though, on the top of your shorter uprights, where did you get the blue tubing thats spanning across them? My rack didn't come with that. Is that something you made and attached?
Hi Tim. That rear bar is something I made for the pulley system. I have a video on how I did it: ua-cam.com/video/DBLHBDI8drI/v-deo.html Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching!
If you have a way to mount two pulleys, that would be ideal. It would allow you more flexibility in your set up. It would also allow you to set up for a high and low pulley. Archon does offer one of the packages with a 55 inch cable. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
@@raheemlawrence3192 Archon does offer a bundle of two pulley's. Look at their amazon store. I have a video that covers the low pulley set up. ua-cam.com/video/lPgrIhZTsp4/v-deo.html Hope that helps.
The eye bolt is just under 2 inches long. It is secured inside the housing by a washer and a lock nut. It spins freely, no binding. But you can remove it if you wanted to replace with a different one.

Awesome setup. How do you attach the low pulley to the rack?
For the lower pulley I use the lanyard that comes with the pulley. I just loop it around the frame and pull it right. Works great.
Do you think you can connect the low pulley to the back vertical post to bring height up more? Will the pulley attachment slip down?
I don't think you can. I believe the pulley would slide down the post.
Hey great video , do you think this could work if the low pulley is attached to a sturdy pipe that runs vertically to the ceiling ?
Thanks. I would think so, as long as the pipe is anchored securely. I would also make sure it’s not pvc or plastic.
Just got it right now set of 2. Trying out new pulls right now just gatta use my imagination tbh lol
I have looked up all kinds of pulls to try. This system is very versatile.
Can I get a high pulley that's 55 inch and a 70 inch low pulley? Would that work?

@@JScottHelms is the 70inch one too long? Or is it ideal for seated excercises?
@@JScottHelms also how do you do the low pully? Do you have to put a whole new set or do they have a bundle option?

What eye bolt length is that and what secures it? nuts/bolts or?
The eye bolt is just under 2 inches long. It is secured inside the housing by a washer and a lock nut. It spins freely, no binding. But you can remove it if you wanted to replace with a different one.
What are the dimensions on that rack how wide how deep how high
It is 85 inches tall, 42 inches deep and 49 inches wide.
Just some advice...a much shorter concise visual video would be much better. I skipped much of this video
