A good tip for a nice mock gordan style bass, is to get one sub and another an octave lower, later it with some noise and distortion. It makes a nice DOOM style bass

when creating spikes in the lfo, you can right click and change the shift function to ramp down and itll automatically create spikes where you drag your mouse based on the grid size and height within the window

you deserve more views, like, i never knew some particular sounds were made, sort of locking me out of the genres i wanted to make, mainly industrial and such, and now i further understand the sound design, none of the other sound design and serum patch channels go so in depth. keep up the good work man. this is helping with my producers block, ive been producing for about a year now, and damn, im improving fast again due to this, my rate of improvement had sort of hit a brick wall before i started actively watching this channel which was today.

I feel like I discovered a GOLD Mine with your channel brother. I've been looking to be taught cinematic sound design because these elements are so practical and don't feel like they'll ever not be relevant. Most tutorials you find for sound synthesis are things that are too 'current' that will sounded outdated in months.
I don't want to rely on continually buying pre-done sample / kontakt libraries (doesn't feel like they're truly my own even after processing) where I probably have all the tools to create them myself and you literally just showcased that.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Great tut man. Love the cinematic vibes. You ever consider doing work in films or games? I think you'd be great at it. Would love to see some more nuero/reese bass techniques in the next stream. Really enjoyed the nuero crunch bass tut you did and would love to see more stuff like that.

Could be, sounds a bit like it. However this sound is fairly common in film music so it's not like I came up with it. A good example would be Mick Gordon who did the Doom OST, he uses these sounds quite a bit. In film music these are usually called a 'pulse' sound, hence the pulsating rhythm.

The ones in this video I made myself from sounds from cinematic sample packs, there are a lot of packs out there aimed at film music both in sample pack format and in Kontakt format. Any library for film music would be good for this.

You have a very interesting approach to cinematic sound especially in the realm of percussion effects.
This is Voice Actor Icemin Lee.
I'm working on a project and could use some custom cinematic percussion instrumentals.
Could you please contact me direct.
