- People have asked me who much electricity or power a small scale mushroom farm uses each month, and how much that costs. In this video we look at how much energy or electricity draw my current farm uses. What each device can draw, and we also look at the current power draw it is doing per hour.
Small scale mushroom farming can be a very profitable business model when done correctly, but all costs should be correctly accounted for. Electricity is an overhead, and should be attributed as such.

I noticed you no longer run PVC for the humidifier through the entire fruiting room, does it make a difference or have you not set it up yet? Thanks!
I just dont use it anymore. My fruiting room is very air tight, unlike the last one. That means when I draw air out from one end, it has to come from the other end (where the humidifier is) in my last room it would leak along all the corners, so it wouldn't draw the air around the fruiting room that well, hence I make a roof duct.
What are the walls made out of for your grow rooms and pre conditioning room?

Does your mini split provide enough oxygen to both your chambers? do you have a cool bot hooked up to it?
it provides enough to supply both rooms.
How does a mini split produce oxygen is it not ductless?
What do you do with the substrate after it's spent?
compost it into high quality garden additive
How it's possible that you only produce 100kgs of mushroom a week when there is tons and tons of substrate bags colonizing waiting to fruit, did i miss something?
we produce colonized substrate for other purposes. Fresh mushroom sales is only a part of our total business scope.
