I love that he's as oblivious to the Fiddler's flirting as he is to all the plotting. Dunk has to be one of my fave GRRM characters. It's refreshing to have someone so honourable and sweet.
@@darkhorse306 I think that is sort of the point underneath the surface of all these books. Dunk isn't smart but he has heart. He should have walked away each time but he hangs on and his infectius good nature changes those around him subtly.
@@mntlhlthaddtnstilltryinggot was good up until episode 7 of season 5. After that it went to shit. House of the dragon messed up by doing the ridiculous time skips, terrible casting and not starting with aegons conquest and just showing the entire targaryen rule.
I like Daemon ll/The Fiddler, he has the same energy as Baelor Breakspear. With the way he puts high Lord's in their place and he's cool with the hedge knights.

It was GRRM's fault. He was supposed to be finished with the books by the time they got to the final seasons. Yes, it was bad but they had no source material to work with.
@@1980999chris actually there was plenty of source material but they chose to rush it, and while GRRM is by no means exonerated from the mess, the show runners clearly wanted out because HBO was quite happy to go on for at least 2 more seasons.
I don’t know how this guy is a narrator. It’s still pronounced “Sir” lol and butchering Targaryen? I made it 20mins, do yourself a favor and get the older Frank Muller narrated versions.
@@Commander_Bern Can't be. Harry Lloyd is British, and would speak with a more appropriate accent. Besides, he's done a fair amount of voice work, and the sound of his voice is pretty familiar Lastly...he's simply a MUCH better actor/reader than the person doing this.
