Im not gonna state my opinion on the matter but many people will say Montana is better than Ohio. While many people will say Ohio is better than Montana. Depending on who you ask either goes above each other. Although tbh S - tier is a stretch for this ship. I feel A tier is good but considering how many strong tier 10 bb there are, its hard to argue for Ohio or Montana. Both are good but no insane compared to others.
Yeah there are definitely two camps when it comes to Monty or Ohioman. I see both sides, volume of fire or big hits. I prefer the big hits, but as for Ohio being an S tier. I base that opinion on the fact that from any other BB I have. Ohio is the only one, that can repel planes, tank and be accurate for sniping. Now I haven't played repub or vermont so of course I can't speak for those. But whenever I face a Vermont or a Repub in my Ohio, i win most of the time. I am not saying Ohio is the only s tier bb, but I really think it's up there. But I can definitely also accept A tier haha :D
Honestly, i am not sure if i am actually going to considered the Ohio to be extremely tanky as GK is quite the tanky one and sit with a 68k HP, considering that she is basicly a Montana with a 8, 457mmm, and sometime's the Montana hull always had a reputation to get citadel abit easily. Although, that being said, the Ohio is still quite a fun ship to play, having those speed, AA, big gun's, relatively good accuracy, fast reload and etc. I just wish i could actually try her.
Nice game as always ! You convince me to take it the day it will be available without the need to sell my house haha. I think you should try the AA instead of stearing, because the basic range is really good, a lot better than Montana
I'm agree with you. I use AA range +10% in slot 3 on my Ohio. Stock, the AA damage is more low than the Montana, but the AA range is better. So improve AA range is a good point.
