Shane, I had asked about that sanding tool. I'm sure others did as well. Thanks for explaining it - and the short demonstration. You're correct, you meed to do the pay dirt analysis. Your demo did not come up to your professional standards. Are you taking us through a complete guitar build? I hope so... I found this episode interesting - AND - educational....
Yep the idea is to re-learn the process of building a guitar - then to demonstrate each step from raw lumber to tuning it up as a series. Like I said, right now just re-learning and re-building all the tooling, jigs and templates as I go to make the full scale process easier. Making one thing is easy, but making many all the same is a lot more tricky. We will get there.
Love the guitar-building part. Its like watching Bob Ross but making guitars.

Yeah they're a company from India, I'm sure with some communication we can get the videos right, but at the same time I enjoy editing and like having total control of the material. At least for the GPAH videos, will see about my yard sale / outdoor /travel videos.

Have to agree with you, that editing was not Nice for GPAH. This will be the first time I've seen a guitar built, looks like it's gonna be interesting. I like the new sanding table, looks like it will come in quite handy. Thanks for letting us watch, see you on the next one.

That's called an Apprenticeship and I may be offering that at some point. It's a lot of work for one guy, especially with so much other stuff going on all the time.

Ahhh Lutherie, where you think of a tool that does not exist then make the tool! I was surprised you did not put something between the clamps and the fingerboard to even out the pressure.
nah, the epoxy hardens like a rock, and the fingerboard still has to be shaped and leveled etc. No problems will happen there, at least they haven't yet!

How about instead of wax paper to catch the epoxy drips. Use some sort of mat to save some money/time. When it gets overly stained. You can throw it away an buy or make a new one?
I've always used wax paper and it's cheap and quick.
YOUR WAY OF EDITING IS EASIER ANYWAY! Leave that editing style to a channel that needs it.
Gold prospecting, is fun an simple. Just like your editing. It can also make it seem as gold prospecting is a hard task to do, when it is not. Anyone can really get into the hobby!

Do you sell these finished guitars on a site or are they commissioned privately or something? If so, what do they range price-wise? Obviously, I know that the woods that they are made of changes price, the different finishes, unique designs and such. I mostly know you for your gold prospecting videos, but I played guitar on and off for about 17 years in earlier years and might get back into it eventually.
Hey JMR thanks for asking. So they're not for sale, at least not yet. For now, I'll be giving them away / endorsing them to signed artists, to help promote the business / gain hype. Then I may be selling some, but no "custom" orders, I've done that for a while and was a big headache. I'll pretty much just build what I feel like, no rush, no waiting customers, just peaceful guitar building and if what I build sells, it sells. If not, that's fine as well. Thanks for the question. My answer here isn't set in stone, it's just made of wood which is always workable.
