  • 360-degree Shibuya views from “SHIBUYA SKY”
The observatory area “SHIBUYA SKY” offers a never-before-seen panoramic view of Shibuya. Tickets have to be purchased in order to access SHIBUYA SKY. You can get tickets directly at the counter when you visit, or purchase them online ahead of time. We recommend online reservations since they offer a small discount. These can be made on the same day if spaces are available.
Shibuya Sky is a 229 meter (751 feet) tall observation deck located on the 47th floor (top floor) of Shibuya Scramble Square Tower.
The open-air deck offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Tokyo. You can look down on the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing, or gaze out at Tokyo Skytree and Mt. Fuji in the distance. The elevator ride from the 14th floor to the top is also an exciting experience involving images, 3D sound, and light.
Shibuya Scramble Square is connected directly to the exit B6 of Shibuya Station. Depending on which train line you take, you might end up in the building from underground or aboveground. Just remember to follow the signs.

Hi Jean! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, we were at Shibuya Sky then a bit early, I think around 3pm, because that was the only time slot available closest to the sunset, when we booked our tickets. Usually, people want to be there before sunset to see the beautiful Tokyo skyline in the evening. Tickets for those time slots are the first to be sold out though, and so if you also want to see the sunset and want to come late afternoon, you need to book your tickets online much, much earlier. Otherwise, you can also book an earlier slot like what we did, when there were also less people still, and then just wait there until sunset, when more people begin to arrive.
I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! I hope you are enjoying your day! :)

Hi again Delmy! I hope everything is well with you. Thank you for watching another video of mine. With regards to your query, as far as I know, the "Crossing Light" light show supposedly runs every 30 minutes after 7pm. I guess it also depends on the season/time of sunset when you visit. Just make sure to buy your tickets in advance to ensure your entry at the time of your choice. Thanks again Delmy! Have fun during your visit! 😊

Hi Tyrexx! Thank you so much for watching my video and for giving such wonderful feedback! I really appreciate it! With regards to your query, the time of the sunset in Japan depends on the season. During winter, sunset can come as early as 4:30pm to 5pm so you can enter Shibuya Sky even as early as 3pm to catch it. However, during the other seasons, time of sunset can vary from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Ideally, you would want to enter Shibuya Sky maybe an hour or so before the scheduled sunset. Tickets for these time slots easily get sold out though so you might have to enter a bit earlier and just wait for like 3 hours or so.
I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! I hope you are having a great day! 😊

Hi! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, as far as I know, only phones and cameras are allowed in the Observation Deck. Tripod and selfie sticks are not allowed. There are lockers available though to store your luggage/bags.
