Just so you know ash, I’ve seen it happen before when testing nukers, but petrification reduces damage the petrified champ takes by a LOT. So that partly explains the tiny nukes sometimes

I have a rank 5 Painsmith and used him in earlier FW (when there was a shortage of good champs) and liked him exactly because his A2 hits pretty hard and blocks revive. I was planning to max him out for a universal block revive champ against Ice Golem, but too many champs are waiting for being 6 starred before him. Now he moves a bit forward in the line because of his usage in PvP... :D

I've been watching through a lot of your videos lately to try and learn the game and I have to say it's all been mighty helpful. I also appreciate how much you interact with and involve your community in little ways, like with the movie question at the beginning, as well as being involved with causes you feel are important.
However, thanks to this video, I now have another champion on my radar to look out for. I was under the false assumption that legendaries were the must-haves and once you got them, lower rarities were basically just fodder. It's cool to know that that isn't the case and that even uncommon units have a niche that they can fill SOMEWHERE in the game.
As for the Killers of the Flower Moon, I actually work at a theater and I've heard a lot of good things about it, though a lot of people have said that it can drag in some sections. It's a historical movie which doesn't click for everyone. The first day we got it in our theater I actually had to deal with a shouting match between movie-goers, so that was quite the ordeal.

Just be aware Ash's gear will be nuts even on his bad pieces, and rares won't scale like epics and legendaries do. Lower level ranking is best to go full speed aoe nukers and smash as fast and as hard as possible.

Speaking of Inithwe blocking revive, Shini has a really cool regular arena team that uses Duchess, Inithwe, Wukong, and Shamel. It's specifically anti-Taras and works well against teams that also contain revivers and UDK (UDK due to a niche interaction mechanic). The idea is Duchess and Inithwe get feared right off the start by Taras. Shamel instantly removes that fear and puts the 30% turn meter into your Wukong (party leader). Wukong then sheeps the Taras (goes through UDK protection due to Shamael's attacking counting as being on the same turn). You build the Inithwe slow enough (I believe around 160ish speed) so that the enemy team cycles, the taras attacks post buffs and pops out of sheep at half HP with no buffs, then you instantly hit the Taras with the block revive nuke from Inithwe. After that, the fight is basically just cleanup! Could technically work in LR as well, but would have to get the champs through ban phase... The only flex would be duchess for another champ who would get feared by Taras, but duchess is the ideal pick.

BigPoppaDrock is a major Kraken but his live streams are all like 2 hours of live arena. I actually really enjoy watching it. Would have loved to see more Painsmith in Live Arena.

You should try "Gurgoh the Augur". As long as you make him fast enough, he can strip the buffs of the enemies (including Stone Skin) and freeze them at the same time. He also smacks pretty hard if under freeze. - I usually have a turn meter control (Georgid since he also smacks at the same time) and a block buffs champion (Mortu due to his revive denial) and a Nucker (Hephraak) going after him. Basically the last 3 can be changed to any other champions. The best is that in hundreds of battles, I only had Gurgoh denied one time on live arena.

thats how i roll in team area one of the 3 teams has GtA can build him to do decent damage and defense to come back and freeze - strip again - plus UDK frozen sometimes enables you to attack other champions at times

I like running the Sun Wukong, Hephraak, Nogdar, Cardinal, Inithwe Bloodtwin as my 5 for live arena. Decide your fate is how I think about it. Ban Hephraak and you get block revive. Digging the jazzy bass intro music being back; think you had something else for a few recent videos? Also I've been using good ol' Fenax in my arena comp lately for that block revival.
There was a content creator who showed Painsmith in Arina a couple of years ago. Actually double Painsmith with Kymar reset and Duchess for the increase attack. It was before Stoneskin, obviously.

Inithwe was the first void leggo i pulled, but never build him... whenever i saw vids about void leggos, often been said, that he's ok, but does not hit hard enough and is a glass canon. Glad that he could be useful now, even when i'm not much into pvp contenr... the rare i kept in vault... will build him 4 fun...

I have my 5 star Painsmith due to a Doom Tower stage for Void Rares. It has a ton of Siphis I couldn’t get thru until Painsmith. Great use case for him.

My complaint with Live Arena is the amount of time between turns. They should shorten it to 5 seconds before the autosystem takes it.

Live arena is just so time consuming on a game that takes up so much of my day as it is. I do enough to keep myself from being bumped down. I've done a lot of bonuses but I'm nearing my great hall completion so sticking to that. Great video on painsmith!

How does he compare to Fenax (a.k.a Nub)? I recently built Fenax and while good, is a little underwhelming.
Foli is based off a really good but oldschool anime called Guyver... great anime they should do a AOE w/ the chest blaster
I'm lucky to have five block revivers in my account. Alot of F2P players will be limited in options. Of course it's easy to get armiger from shards and conqueror is farmable from the campaign(very forgettable champ though). Painsmith is great cuz his affinity makes it so players don't have to always trade him out depending on the enemy affinities. Fenax hits the hardest of all my block revivers but painsmith comes in an easy second for the flexibility he brings in any situation based on his affinity. I love Fenax and Armiger as tag team block revivers in ice golem but Painsmith can be fit in as an alternate option.

I'm surprised you didn't have anything to say about the Kaja Deck of Fate event. The whole thing seemed really shady to me. Only 3 days long, they reduced the amount of points one can get from artifacts compared to previous, similar, events, it happened while another fusion event was happening, and it started right after a summon rush for Timit event finished, so almost no one is going to have the resources saved up for the Kaja event. It seems like if Plarium wanted to be honest they just would have sold her in the shop for $250.

I guess i underestimated Painsmith's capabilities but i will keep him if he comes up in the rotation (since i won't be getting many cool LEGOS as a free2play gamer).
I like using Queen Eva against the Ice Golem (the only BR in my collection). with the right timing, she gets rid of at least one pesky minion. Maybe painkeeper will bring the proper pain in that spot . . .

fun fact - if ronda kills sun wu kong with her A2 (which shuts down passive) then he cant self revive. weirdly enough if she hits him with A2 and he doesn't die until the following turn then he will self revive.
actually another rare with a block revive is conqueror hits super hard with higher attack and is farmable
Good option, the only problem is Magic affinity so he will have a hard time killing Force champions like Pythion and UDK

I've seen "Killers of the Flower Moon".
It was very good, but also very sad. It was definitely NOT what the preview led me to believe . While it's definitely worth watching (once), there's no reason to watch it on the big screen. Streaming it will sadly convey the true (ish) story just as well.

IMO, you can't build Sun Wu squishy enough for an arena build. Not only does he reset, he cleanses himself and acts as a target, soaking up single target attacks and debuffs. I love live arena, but it's still very buggy. It needs more safeguards against short disconnects, It tells me it's my turn when it's my opponents turn to pick, and I often can't find an opponent at all.

I can't wait till I get to the point where I have so much left over gear that I can build some niche rares and epics instead of trying to find gear that Is actually half decent to use on my best champions. I am at the point where everything I do is such a slog and I keep getting mediocre gear so I can't advance in dungeons to get better gear.
After 2 years of playing, I still have almost no meta champs on either of my accounts for arena. No surprise, but as a result I kinda hate Live Arena. Haven't played it in months.
