I've had her as my arena nuker for months, nobody ever bans her in live arena, thanks Ash for letting everyone know how good she is, she my secret weapon.
Nubs talks about her occasionally for arena. I pulled her early from an ancient and was disappointed looking at her rankings ... until I built her out for some early wave clearing.
6 months in she's still on most teams. Another year and I can build a 2nd one! (Imagine going against 4 of 'em)

Its funny how few people know how powerful she is, I loose 1 arena match against her because I couldn't out damager her passive heal and that was enough to say screw this, I pull her from shards before I got her and she damn near soloed faction wars 21 when I thought it was going to be a 10+ minute slauge through the valk wave so I went for a pee break and let it run, came back to a 21 3* win... I wish I had good enough gear for her in an arena build, may do that with the second one I get... god, I have 2 pythions, 2 duchesses and 2 gnishaks, but arix is the one I am excited to build a second one of.

shes pretty common in low gold, most people dont ban her because armanz means they dont even get a chance 😂

I got lucky and pulled her from an ancient shard in my first year of playing. However, I don't have the gear yet to accomplish this level of awesomeness. But one day!!!!!
But my favorite combo is Pharsalas with Sun Wukong. Wukong dies, Pharsalas puts True Fear on most of the opposing team with his passive, Wukong revives, rinse repeat. It's a killer combo for Armanz. He thinks he can keep you from taking a turn, but when he keeps getting scared to death, he has no chance!!!!

Have you ever tried a combo of Helicath plus a very slow, high resistance UDK? If Helicath is fast enough and UDK is slow enough (or if you have Helicath plus another block damage champion...preferably a second Helicath), UDK can keep block damage up for the entire fight, his passive will redirect hits to him, and that redirect will then trigger Helicath's passive to let him unleash with his hard-hitting A1.
Isn't it weird how audio issues can just appear without you having messed with anything at all? I'm sure that was frustrating to discover, Tim. Hope it's an easy fix.

Something I've resurrected once or twice for live arena from my early days trying to get to Gold in normal arena - Kymar, Rhazin, Tayrel, Apothecary. Had to manual back in the day but set up that basically Apoc (or a similar speed booster) gets them going, Tayrel does Decrease DEF, Rhazin does his TM decrease, Kymar resets and boosts - repeat cycle until back to kymar to sleep the opponents before they can go - ideally they lose a turn to sleep or you single target ones you can kill/are a lower threat. These days with the ability to set a team up to use moves in order and blessings like reap and all - probably way more efficient and effective than it was. It was basically what Armanz does years before he was made in locking a team out, and the best part is other than Kymar (or a similar champ if it exists that can reset everyone's skills) - you can literally swap in anyone else in the roles that does the same job with free/easy to get/ whatever you have champs. You could swap in High Khatun and Warmaiden or Arbiter and Lydia plus whatever other AoE TM decrease/steal. It threw some live arena opponents off cause it's not a meta team and the went for the obvious Arbiter ban (not realizing my other speed booster was almost as fast). That Armanz can't do jack when he's got his TM depleted, then depleted, then asleep, and usually by then definitely dead. Also can work well on waves.
And I may actually try building my Arix closer to that as an alternate for Arena or even to see if that helps in FW on my main where I'm still not quite done a couple of the old factions - get myself closer to maybe, finally, not getting screwed over by the moving target to get Lydia.
Thanks for the Guide. Arix was the first 5* soul I pulled so I was very excited when I got her. She also has a place in spider hard if you pair her up with a bunch of aoe or multi-hit a1s. I have her at 125 speed and she constantly laps all my champions. This might not be the fastest but it's a fun Strat if you want to see the true power of her passive.
The other night I'm just doing the easiest arena I can find just to get the daily quest done and came across a lone Arix. My team was Duchess, Ronda, UDK, and Pythion with the 2 rezzers in stone skin. She one-shot my entire team.
Holy crap, the audio, batman! I'm excited, I'm about to finally get Arix in the free path, but they'll be my second Arix. The question is to keep both Arix for double Counter attack, or enhance the first Arix?

Since you brought up LA, how do you fill out your great hall with the new bonuses? After pumping tokens into Hydra stats, that is.
One of my 3V3 teams is Shu Zhen, Gnishak, Warlord, and Lady Kimi. Its my anti-stoneskin team, Gnishak goes last in the turn order with his A1, and with both TM manipulators Shu Zhen laps the enemy team (more often than not anyway) and Gnishak gets his A3 and A2 off immediately. Then the enemy team dies in turn order... more often than not. 🙂
Since pulling falmond, I've been using mordecai for inc att. I found incinerate eats through stoneskin real fast, and got me thinking about sulfuryion + rathalos as a combo there. Tormin really likes to hang out with burns too, to counter faster teams. I don't really see anyone using burns in arena, or the blessing at all for that matter.

Sadly one of the best counters to Arix is Wight King and Queen, because of the complete negation of damage when being attacked off turn? I think.
That reminds me of Skullcrown in a retaliation set. Artifacts, accessories mixed with stone skin would make her nasty.

I have two Arix. One is super tanky in bolster and I run her with Pytheon so the enemy team always hit like a noodle. Currently planning to build the second one full damage 9 pieces slayer. 😈
I feel like with three counter attack pieces , counter attack masteries etc, you can build any def/ Hp with a AOE a1 and do this
boy you're bad at feeling. You would be missing the passive and the stoneskin buff
Arix finally displaced Kael as my campaign farmer a couple months ago. I had for in the vault for a while until I tried to build her to basically solo hard spider with deliana.
I wonder how a slow build for Arix and Deliana would do along with Valkyrie, where she puts counterattack on the 2 and they just sit there counterattacking all the time rarely taking a turn

Good build if you can get enough RES for most Armanz. With my gear I’m either all damage or all RES, hard to get both

When live arena first started. I would run sniktrak, and a fast maneater with chaguur. They would ban arbiter. Maneater purs up unkillable, sniktrak puts up reflect damage. Then their nuker would aoe smash and just kill their nuker for me. Chaguur would go( toxic set) and posion the team. They would end up sleeping themselves. Either they would rage quit or just watch the loss happen
I love Mithrala and Krisk combo. Krisk Provokes everyone, then have Mith curse everyone. They have no choice but to atk and get turned to stone XD
She’s also my campaign farmer even nightmare cause of her passive. On brutal it’s 7-8 seconds but she carries everyone on nightmare. Such a great champ. 😊

There is a faster way to get Aramz but you have to be lucky. If you get two of the Login champions from shards you’ll get her early
wow i survived arena in the mid game with a mini version of this using fellhound, sepulcher sentinel, and martyr.

If you are asking a cool budget meal combo, I'm a 4 months old player and my Live arena points is 3100+ because of the "ULTIMATE BUDGET MEAL COMBO" Sun Wukong + Paragon.... Build your wukong as a super nuker with savage+cruel all attack on ring and banner with crit damage on necklace, then build your paragon at least 4 piece set stone skin with a resist of 500 to 700... I have an Armanz also and that's what they always ban in live arena... and tips... Always pick Wukong in 4th position and Paragon as the last... Also ban those champs with a deny revive skill on them and you are all good...
The non budget version is udk also are you f2p? 3100 is quite impressive.
@@freeeggs3811 yep.. 4 month old full F2P player... My leggos are only Wukong, Rathalos, Armanz and Adelyn... But I'm at Gold V and can easily get to platinum but I intend to stay in Gold V for easy farming... Silver IV in Tag and 3100s in Live arena... Wukong, Paragon and Armanz carry me all the way...

Put her in slayer set and shes smacks with A1 (if u get locked out on the other skills) on top of her turn meter fills up quicker with slayer set

Stoneskin teams are weak to fast, accurate bombers. That tends to be my weakness. I run my Arix with provoke and the rest is stoneskin so what is that? 4 and 5? Mine's definitely not this good, but I've found I need to stay the hell away from Lord Shazar, War Mother, Gnishak and Gaius. They will tear her apart. Regardless, I've noticed she's just as good at solo'ing arena teams as Skullcrown and Leorius.

I got her on a lucky ancient pull before I got dark elhain, I looooooovvvvve arix in 5 pc slayer with lifesteal, farming the upgrade from doom tower lifesteal gear.
This is my most favorite champ on my account. I have the new high mother Maude but arix is amazing. I have a 5 star blessing too so she hits super hard. 😊
Yeah I noticed a while ago that Arix can be a nasty enemy. Like she was Deliana's evil sister. :D Deliana is somewhat similar and can also be very mean, only nobody uses her most of the time.
I will begin to get Arix frags next month, I can't wait to have her. (it's a her, right?) :D

I’ve had her in immortal and 6x slayer since slayer was the rathalos set. I’d do 9 if I had the gear and it was as good as the what’s on her now

I just tried my Arix that's built for hard spider, and she keeps one-shotting teams.
I’ve been playing 6 months. Arix is one of the only leggos I have. I’ll have to focus on building her as soon as I have the gear
I got her early too, do it. She will not disappoint. Lots of HP, good defense and try to max crit ... she'll smack and stay alive. Then work on bumping all-the-stats.
The slow build here is really cool, but niche and will make her tough to use elsewhere. Especially early I'd recommend building her with speed, she works well in so many areas.
I get her next and have a 6 star soul awaiting!
