Nick doesn’t even like fighting he never has. He did it to show his little brother he can do something productive with his life. Nate is a little more violent I would say. It’s been great to see them grow up in the sport… I just wish they made a lot more money… especially Nick. Nate has done pretty well with the Conor fights and he has one more up his sleeve whenever he wants it. Wish them all the best in life for real. I love those guys to death.

There’s a massive difference lmao. Diaz actually DID fight Penn and it WAS NOT for a title. Merab literally will not fight Aljo even though he’s at the top of the division and Aljo’s the champ. That just holds up the division and fucks everyone else over.

You can tell he was deeply saddened he had to fight BJ and also, that’s the clearest, most fluid interview you will ever see from nick Diaz.
To be fair Nick has always been way clearer spoken than Nate, he just doesn't fuck with all the cameras/interviews but ask the right questions and we get stuff like this.
People like to say Nick isn't very smart spoken but those are the same people that were puzzled when he used the term "Wolf Tickets"

Nick was a gem of a person who was entirely misunderstood, he had the weight of the world on him since he was kid always looking out for his younger bro Nate , he fought out of necessity not desire or passion, you could always tell he hated it but really had no other avenue in life to support himself and those around him

If he would have retired at the end of his run he would have been seen as one of the greatest of all time now he's not even top 25 for most people. People are only judged by their prime if they're downfall wasn't equally as spectacular.

Nick was not a facade or image. You can tell. Nick had a lot of heart. Best big brother Nate could ask for.
Diaz was the pinnacle of the era when fighting was actually fighting. They may have not sold it as well but there was so much more emotion in each fight.

I think most peoples assume they are dumb or just “fighters” simply due to their antics in and around the cage. But it’s apparent that there is way more to them than what you see at face value. I’ve always loved them, they’ve been great for the sport. It’s just awesome to see that they have such great morals and love for family and friends. That certainly can’t be said about a lot of other competitors in the ring.

Well that’s not it at all; Nick’s master is CAESAR GRACIE, BJ’ got his Black Belt from MASTER RALPH GRACIE. They are BLOOD BROTHERS AND RENZO IS THE OLDEST IN THAT IMMEDIATE FAMILY. So YOU are not supposed to fight family from the same dojo in the public eye for money. It’s a huge no no in Gracie Law. It’s the same dojo, same techniques, they all train together. It’s f*cked and BJ’s head blew up like a balloon and betrayed Ralph by fighting family. Also later on BJ also ended up fighting Renzo in Hawaii so it was a HUGE betrayal by BJ and massive DRAMA for Nick to MAKE SURE & kick his *ss.

The art Is MASSIVE and it’s a legit street fighting art and the most lethal art the world has ever seen. Everyone you see in the Octagon is under a black black who got their black belt from a Gracie.
