My 2021 Smart WiFi Irrigation System With Rainpoint

- Welcome back to Up NY Lawn!! In today's video, I'm showing you my smart irrigation system. I use 2 WiFi controllers from Rainpoint, that allow me to water my lawn manually, from my phone, or even with my voice with Amazon Voice Assistant (Alexa).
I purchased one of the controllers, but the Rainpoint team was kind enough to send me an extra one for the purpose of this video, plus a Soil Moisture Sensor, which is so useful when it comes to knowing the soil temperature before seeding or putting some fertilizer.
Of course, I'm giving you my honest and unbiased opinion, and at any point, I'm endorsed by Rainpoint.
So this being said, I must say that I really LOVE this WiFi controller!! Simple to install, very intuitive app, and very easy to use in order to have my lawn wet enough, especially during the last month and after the leveling and overseeding in the Rollercoaster (front lawn), and the 'green project' area in my backyard.
I've been so happy so far with Rainpoint, and hopefully, you get enough information in this video, if you're looking to get into smart WiFi irrigation controllers.

Definitely! I retired 2 out of 3 manual hoses 🤣 with these controllers. And it was nice being able to water the lawn from Philadelphia last weekend lol

Honestly you’ll still need a similar product to control the in ground system as well. Regardless if the system is above ground or underground you’ll still need a “controller”
I have two RainPoint timers and love them (not wifi, only simple electronic timers). Are those Orbit H2O sprinkler heads?
Hello, does it restrict water flow? I mean the sprinklers have less distance coverage when using rainpoint vs nothing?
