We play the game in family with my two girls (12 and 8) and my wife. : ) My youngest girl is 4 years old, a bit young for heroquest but every time she's looking to the board with stars in their eyes. She reminds me at her age. : )
We followed your idea of using color spray and it is a huge addition to our game. We'r also using the compendium books for cards. You have a lot of good ideas and your videos are well edited. Thanks for your positive and rich heroquest content.
@richtea12 I'll probably keep it pretty general at first to see what most people are interested in. I can also give people 4 choices of what they would like to see next, based on video ideas I currently have in the works. Last time, I pulled people they were most interested in Home Brew content.
Just about to launch into getting my kids to play Heroquest with my old original set+ Kellars Keep! I was waffling about it as to go further, I would have to re-buy the original game to use the new expansions. But now with First Light, if they like it, I can get that set so I will have a board that fits all the new expansions, and then the sky's the limit.
@jeanlucgatoh I got it from a US seller, but I can't seem to find the listing anymore. Here's the same one from Minis3D on ETSY. I spray painted them purple. www.etsy.com/listing/965917185/heroes-female-hq-dungeon-by-minis3d
Happy Questing in 2025. I suggest you give a certain AshQuest video based on the solo mode made by Gravaillon. It's a set of cards that generates your dungeon crawl in a sandbox way but adheres to all the original game content. So you can play the original 14 quests again, but the dungeon will be random this time (but with the same goals and plots evolving). It's quite a gem, and I've just taken the system he uses and just created my own quests and expanded the cards and what they contain to give it a more warhammer feel. I also suggest looking up Mortimer’s HeroQuest Bestiary v1.3 by jbroz. It basically converts all Warhammer Quest monsters to Heroquest format so you can home brew as many into your game as you like and have more reason to find mini's to add to your dungeon. Cheers.
Thank you! I've downloaded the Gravaillon system but haven't had the chance to play a quest with it yet. I'll be sure to give it a go! I don't think I've seen the Bestiary yet, but is it the one Daniel from the Dungeon Dive talks about?
@@TheFair-WeatherMan I don't know cause I've not seen the video with him talking about it, or I have and forgot and got the idea to download it from him, hrm. I do alot of scouring the internet for Heroquest home brew stuff to create my own so it could have been from somewhere else. It's a great thing to have though, but does make the game a little more intense obviously because of monster abilities being introduced.
What's your favorite HeroQuest memory in 2024!?
My youngest daughter accidently waking up the witchlord at Baraktor.
@joachim701 Ha ha! My kids did the same thing! We had to flee to other parts of the dungeon.

@@MimHagen1 That's awesome! My son started at 5, so it won't be long before she's hooked!
Congrats on some great content in 2024, onwards to 1000 subs!
Looking forward to what 2025 brings to your channel, particularly with Homebrew content.
@HonODalloran That's what it's all about! Thanks for watching. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! And thank you for all of your support. Bring on the War Gaming Videos in 2025!
Great recap video! Would love to see a vote mechanism or discord channel where we could vote on possible future videos.
I could try to work that into a vote in the comment section. Great idea! 👍
Ohh this!! Any idea of what choices we might have?

@cjwestphal397 Yes, and you can use the original furniture and monster minis instead of the standees and strange furniture tiles.
How to get the violet miniatures,… I love the elf

I can't wait to check it out!
If HeroQuest came out with just simple dungeon tiles that could work off the main board I would be so happy
