A few other thoughts as I want you to succeed. I have seen these sold as quarts, gallons, and three gallons ( a very mature plant). If you can get the three gallon I would get that for the best chance of success. If you can't, I would suggest putting a less mature plant in a container, and bringing it in for the winter to get a more mature growth, a better root system, then transplant the second year. I monitor my garage for my boat and its at least 10 degrees warmer than outside and obviously no cold wind so that might be an option instead of bringing in to say your basement. My two lantanas are only good to 15 degrees, I covered them with a clear tarp, then put a small space heater in there which kept it far warmer than was necessary - they even started growing when there was enough sunlight. I didn't notice anything in my electric bill with that either.
It’s beautiful 😍 .
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for the detailed review 😊
Glad to do it - one of my favorite plants and never disappoints year after year.
what usda zone
Good to zone 5. They are working on more of these ultra long lasting bloom varieties.
@@NOVAGardening thx, I'll buy 1 to try out, in Toronto Canada, many z5 did not survive with winter protection
