So glad to stumble.onto your channel. I will be binging your channel even though they probably won't count my LIKES. when I tried to watch on UA-cam, it said I had to be 18 and was required to use my Google login. So pathetic the power these platforms have. Luv your spirit. Keep on.
I hope DK feels better quickly. I find the older I get, the longer it takes to recover from any sort of cold, viral, sinusy thing. Wishing you a speedy recovery. RE: Anne’s sweater. I love the color and the cable work. I, too, though would be reluctant to unpick it (because of all the cable work) and reknit it. I agree the low v neck is the biggest challenge. If you have either enough yarn from the original project or enough yarn in a complementary or neutral color, you could knit a triangular placket to sew in behind the v neck opening to bring that opening up higher. From there, you should have the coverage you need for the front. Since the oversized look is in now, once you solve the v neck opening, I think you would have a viable vest, particularly if you wear it over a shirt or knit top (either crew neck or turtle neck). Good luck with it!
Anne. Your vest is beautiful. It’s always so disappointing when something turns out the completely wrong size. Also, I don’t think I have ever met anyone who actually blocks swatches.
Oh my, watching a few weeks later. I am making that vest….for the husband. And I’m going to cheat and not cable the back side. Thank you for showing potential issues. I May comment again when the politics emerge.
Anne I love the color and texture of your vest, and I always try to salvage projects if possible. Could you pick up stitches around the neckline and knit a ribbed edge to fill it in a bit? Also maybe sew in some elastic thread around the neckline and arm holes to bind them in a bit? Sorry you have such a disappointing result 😢
Have you looked into The Tuttle Twins? I don't know if they have books for teens. There is also Great Battles for Boys, which girls can read. The Indian in the Cupboard series might work. Sorry I always read above my level and the school required books were dry and boring.
Of course, the Tube put a climate change flag on this video. Aren't you proud?!? Feel better, DK. I'm on the backside of a cold, and my hubs got it. Hi, Anne. Yes, that mansplaining commercial was cringe to the max. No farmer sits like that. Not one.
"Huge tracts of land!" 😂😂😂 This is why I love Anne! Feel better DK! ❤

Anne you could pick up inside the neckline and so some ribbing ti fill it in.
Huge bummer on the vest!
