I think a lot to be said for lack of stretch on both, lack of as much hop important on titanium, difference in time may diminish with differences in sharpening times. Will be interesting with more testing and bigger CC saws also. Thanks for bringing us along and everyone be safe and be careful
Thank you Kevin. Both chains are good quality. In my opinion the Titanium will win out when I put a file to it. The narrower tooth will shine. Love ya brother. 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
Looked like the regular was a bit faster but both good! Of I could order things like that I'd try them but I don't have that luxury so it's always Tony chains for me. I could go get Oregon from the hardware store in Kettle couple bucks cheaper but I like to support Tony! Good video and info!
TazMan, you rocked both Archer Chains and rocked that very cool looking Archer Shirt:) Those Archer Shirts and kangaroo Logo are Jumping Hot, YES TazMan you need to make an infomercial Modeling that amazing looking Archer Chain Shirt:) Time for a new side-job TazMan, Modeling for Archer:) This is so much fun:) TazMan you are taking our community to the next level and now Michael is supercharging the excitement:) Bless you Michael for all your kindness:):)
I was wondering, I do alot of milling on a logosol f2+ and use stihl 63pmx chain and man did it skyrocket in price. Also I am always looking for something to get an edge.
Thank you Sanchez. I think it was ground from the factory to be more durable against all types of wood. We will be doing more investigating on this chain and it's differences for sure. 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
I’m a little surprised that the titanium was slower. But time will tell as they wear and need sharpening. Also curious what happens when you up the cc’s! Good video!❤️🪓💚
Thank you John. I thing the rakers are a bit higher on the titanium chain. I will get a video out about that for sure. We will disect it together. Love ya brother. 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
Great comparison sir. That sure is a good looking bar on that saw and you darn near look like an Australian 😂 those chains look great! Will have to try em out some time.
Hey there Oakie. Am here in gippsland. I put an Archer semi chisel on my Stihl 180. It finally started throwing chips and not the sawdust from the stihl " safety " chain. If you are thinking archer, go for it !
Quote from New Life newsletter: How Do You Get Out of a Rut? Once he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you as well as to me. Philemon 1:11 When you find yourself in a rut, make yourself useful. Fold the laundry. Clean out the files. Take the trash out. Walk the dog. Join a committee. Mentor a young person. Do something that will make a positive difference. It can be a small something or a big something. The important thing is -- do something useful. When you do, great things happen. Your mind becomes positively engaged. Your self-esteem begins to rise. Your confidence increases. Your sense of worth grows stronger. And you end up truly accomplishing something of value. It all creates a powerful, positive momentum. What can you do, right now, to truly make yourself useful? The choices are all around you. Imagine how sincerely great it will make you feel. Rather than just looking busy, give yourself a real boost. Find a way to be truly useful. Father in heaven, thank You that just because we are in a Rut, it doesn’t mean we have to stay there. Show us what we can be doing today that’s useful. We choose to do something positive instead of nothing, to be useless no more. In Jesus name, AMEN! Get out of your rut and into the groove.
good to see a vid maker running a Stihl and not a husky or mac ! What breed of wood is that log ? Now ifv we could only get you to run a Pioneer !!!!! Alex
Hello and welcome Mopar. Thank you for your support. Much appreciated my friend. This log is lodgepole pine. Pioneer hmmm I have a couple of those beauties. Hahahahaha love it🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
@@tazman-kennyfuller G'day mate. I currently have 3 pioneers. A beautifully running Holiday 1800 and 2 non running NU 17s. Hope to get them running soon. Pioneers are hard to come by here in Australia. Question, do pioneers run husky bars ? Good onya mate. Have a good one !
I think archer was going after a smoother, cut. Narrower cut with better racker balance out of the box. Great comparison buddy. Wandering what the price difference is. Great video. Love ya brother. ❤️🪓🌲👊🏻🙏🏻
Thank you Johnny. I believe you are correct on your thoughts buddy. It is smoother. We will check raker height and see where the differences are together. Love ya brother 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
Quote from New Life newsletter: There’s Always a Choice If it is unacceptable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15 Very often we say we have no choice when what we really have is a very difficult choice. You’ve no doubt heard yourself or someone else say things like “I have no choice but to work 70 hours a week” or “I have no choice but to go to this meeting.” In such situations, “I have no choice” really means “the choice is too difficult to make, so I’ll pretend it doesn’t exist." Such thinking can be a trap. You can pile up one “no choice” on top of another until your life seems completely out of control. But no matter where you are, you do have a choice about almost everything you do. You have chosen the path to where you are right now, and you have complete control over where you are going from here. Yes, the choices will indeed be difficult, but there’s nothing to be gained by denying them. The next time you catch yourself saying you have no choice, stop and ask yourself if that is really true. The way to improve your life is to make the choices which will take you to where you desire to be. Have the courage to look at those choices. Carefully consider their implications. Decide to take complete control and make the choices which will move your life forward. Father in heaven, today we are learning that no matter the situation, we have a choice in what we do. We choose to continue to serve You. Especially when the choice is hard or the consequences are rough, guide us to make the right choice and to be bold enough to do it. In Jesus name, AMEN! You can’t always control your situation, but you can always control your choices.
Quote from New Life newsletter: Getting Comfortable with Discomfort Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. James 1:2 When you meet a new person the relationship is a bit awkward at first. Over time, you become comfortable with each other, and the relationship can blossom into something of great value. Yet I wonder how many relationships never even get a chance because they are so uncomfortable at the beginning. Meeting new people, learning new skills, presenting your ideas, taking risks -- all these things can be very uncomfortable at first. After a while, though, that discomfort disappears and you’re left with something very valuable such as a relationship, a skill, an influence, or an accomplishment. When you have the courage to step outside your comfort zone, then you begin to create new value for your life. On top of that, your comfort zone expands. Sure, new things are a little uncomfortable. Yet that little bit of discomfort will soon pay big dividends. Endure a little discomfort. Meet new people, learn new skills, take some calculated and intelligent risks. A little discomfort won’t hurt you and can bring you big rewards. Father in heaven, naturally we try to avoid being uncomfortable, seeking what is easy and comfortable, but if this is all we ever do we will never grow or improve. Though we don’t want to, help us to grow comfortable with being uncomfortable. Stretch us, help us and grow us into who You need us to be to reach a sin sick and dying world. In Jesus name, AMEN! We need to be comfortable with discomfort in order to grow.
