    I had a pattern book that had this design in it. I made one to wear with my short skirts in the late 60's. I wish I still had the booklet.

    I used 550meters of Caron Cakes yarn for M size (hook size : 6.5/K) and it is very comfortable.

    I think I’m going to make this with some ecru cotton yarn by Lily’s Sugar and Cream. I might use a bigger hook to make a bigger size. Thank you ❤️
    Edit: actually I think if I add more granny squares to start, that should work! Also, I might do the join as you go trick rather than sewing them together.

      How many granny squares did you end up making? I need a bigger size too

    Can I use regular knitting worsted? How many skeins (oz.) would I need? Thanks much!

    • @chaysiecrochet
      @chaysiecrochet  5 років тому

      Hi Jerri, you could but I'm not sure of the amount needed for a different type of yarn. I did see a comment in here from another yarn crafter that this amount was used, I believe that was for a large: Using 4 Premier Sweet Rolls 5oz / 245yds each. I hope that helps you? Sorry... Have a great day!

    Great video but can you tell me how much yarn I need for a large vest? I didn't see it anywhere in the pattern. Thanks

      Hi Dorothy! The tan/brown one I made with 2 Bernat pops. That again is a medium and didn't allow me enough after to border the entire vest so I bordered the top around neck and left the rest with the other edging. The one in the video I used 2 of the Red Heart Love then I used 1 skein of Caron simply soft for the granny squares. I'm not sure what would be required for the small or large sizes. Thank you! =)

    Hi can you please tell me the measures for xl and 2xl indian sizes

    • @chaysiecrochet
      @chaysiecrochet  6 років тому

      Hi Sirisha! If you look in the description of the video, you will see that I have marked out many times you want to repeat for each size ending with a large. So for each larger size, you would maybe want to work one more repeat than the size Large, in the rounds I have marked in that description area. I hope that makes sense?

    • @chaysiecrochet
      @chaysiecrochet  6 років тому

      Oh my goodness! I am so sorry Sirisha! I am just seeing your comment. I hope everything worked out well for you and I wish I had seen this sooner to offer some suggestions for your husband. I hope you had a beautiful Christmas and Happy New Year! ♥ ( Just an idea if you are still looking for a gift... scarf/hat sets are always nice, and of course, if you have time for it, a nice crochet throw is a fantastic gift for a man!) in my opinion ;)
