I just discovered your videos. I've always wanted to build an aviary for finches, but I'm not allowed. My wife believes my koi pond is enough. So, I'll have to live out my dreams through you. Thank you for sharing.
Another fantastic video, thank you An. Sorry to hear you haven't been well, hope you are feeling much better now. I think all your cages are amazing, how you adapt them and make such stunning little homes for all your little friends. I am so looking forward to seeing the new additions.
Thank You for sharing. My internet is going to be off starting to night the 23 . You have been so helpful in my setup and how to keep my birds. Keep up the good work. Love You and have a fantastic day
Love from Pakistan. You have inspired me a lot, I will be working on my aviary in near future and try to make something similar if not the same :) thanks for the videos and great information... cheers
For the forbes: minimize temperature fluctuations which triggers molt (they must both molt at same time to be in breeding condition 6 months later at same time). Give plenty of space for the aggressive chasing that is part of the mating ritual, give tons of nesting material and multiple nest sites to choose from located high with decent foliage cover. usual amount of live food. Mine do not use traditional nest boxes. Perhaps because their nest is much larger than the space allocated. Previous videos show the nest structures they have built in but something like an 8inx8in half open box would be similar
@@Echosaviary appreciate your time to show me how to clean your beautiful aviary. Question: all rocks in your bird cage are fake? If so how do you make them like real rocks? Where do I get grass carpets like you have. Again appreciate all your replies.
@@Echosaviary this is my aviary (4 years ago I have one on grass and there was a 6’ python got in and killed 11 canaries and about 8 eggs) Now I got my aviary on concrete but still love your nature look aviary 👍
I *ADORE* Strawberry finches!
So glad to see someone successfully breeding these gorgeous little jewels.
They are wonderful birds and great parents!

Oh the cure for that is move your koi into the basement like I did and then an outdoor aviary will seem like a great idea! 🤣🤣🤣

There is a playlist called “working with epoxy” that will show how to make rocks (and stream, and tree trunks).
The grass is called astroturf here. It is available at home improvement stores. It comes in rolls like carpeting and is easily cut to shape
