Hi, I kinda just got into indie music and I would love it if anyone out there knows of any other bands that you find good, besides local natives? If so, let me know! I've been listening to old music all my life, and it's about time I listen to something that I can go watch in concert :)
I am a fan of The Dear Hunter. I am actually going to see them in concert in a few weeks too.

Portugal the man! They are amazing just check out pretty much any of there songs... Idk if they are indie but they make some damn good music and their acoustic versions are unexplainable

the most specific genre i can think of is Indie Folk, because it has those very folkish harmonies and vocals yes indie instrumentals. Similar bands: Fleet Foxes, Bombay Bicycle Club, Young the Giant

phiNjustin The guys behind the glass with the sound boards are controlling levels. They don't have Taylor's guitar level up nearly loud enough. The performance itself is solid.
