Those orange and the green lights are the economy sensor. It dependes if you accelerate more or less, so the lights change as it drinks more or less gasoline.
I had two celicas 1.6 GTI (from 1987 and 1989), with 124 bhp, and i've reached 230 Kms/hour top speed twice and 240 kms/hour top speed once. It's true that i was driving in a highway and going doown hill, but in a flat road i normally i would reach 220 Kms/hour, so this is not a greate video of Toyota's top speed.
It has ACIS, active intake system. It gets more air in at around 5k rpm and keeps going. VVTI was only on late 90s Beams motors and they were japan specific for most part.
Its a late 80s 2.0L with 156hp what the hell do you expect it to be? Its not a turbo motor either. Its brisk enough. This car gave me gigantinc amounts of joy and was fun even in city traffic at low speeds, more than any of much more powerful cars i got chance to drive regularily.

Mine was fine some surface rust mostly because of a botched paintjob by previous owner. Never came around to getting that cleaned off and painted, had to sell her 3 years ago. It didnt really get any worse than the day i bought her in 2016. It was pretty much only on few spots on under side and in the trunk(spare wheel well). I regret selling her. If you get yours keep her. As for speed you could just swap in 6th gen Celica non-cat 3sge so it has 180hp instead and then air filter and exhaust maybe it would be 190-ish hp then. Some people do red top beams 3sge swaps too, it probably would get down to 7s flat with that.
Kanggoo its 230 and something.. I have tested the top speed with a gps the real speed is 226.. but its a 1.6... with some mods here and there.. not much like "racing" spark plug wires and bucket seats.. the engine is stock

Its a common problem on the celica you just need to fill up your brake fluid
It's not the handbrake, its brake fluid level sensor error. It sometime gives false positives.

No you dingus, its a low brake fluid level light. I had it on many times, taking off and putting the cap on was sometimes enough to make it go away.
