The only one I don’t care for is the laundry bag thingy. I use a collapsable bucket or tub and a small plunger, yes a plunger like the ones used for toilet but smaller and of course I only use it for washing and rinsing but I don’t backpack so I’m not limited on weight, I car/tent camp. Washing and rinsing is so easy this way taking all the dirt off, sometimes I wonder if this method is even better than my machine at home lol. The privacy toilet tent is priceless, so handy. I got to get the Sea to Summit bag for washing dishes, hint it can be an excellent portable dog water bowl too and easy to carry on long hikes. I love your suggestions, thanks.
OMG all that Stuff!! I just outfitted for my first every kayak camp... Ended up as a fail as I launched us on the wrong creak and had to struggle back up river when we hit a HUGE log jam. It was the best worst kayak trip ever. Will be doing a do over in the spring.
We've done that on backpacking trips too. Nearly dropping dead from exhaustion, K tape on both feet because they're covered in blisters, dehydrated because you're rationing water. Then a few months later we'll say "remember that trip? Oh yeah that was a great time.... let's do it again!!!!" Cheers!
If you stand them on their end and pull down it can be snapped into position a bit easier. Eventually these will get a bit easier but honestly that was my biggest gripe about them! When it's cold outside it's even tougher!
@@LoneCrowAdventures Thank you. When we finally do get them up they are amazingly comfy, strong and spacious. We car camp, so bring extra pads for added comfort. They are high off the ground so easy in and out..and storage space under handy. I am really enjoying your videos. Cheers

Yeah the wash bag is a hit and miss for most people, but I thought most people probably hadn't heard of! Thanks for the suggestion on the dog bowl.
Thank you. Great gift ideas . 😊
You're welcome 😊

That laundry washer thing looks really neat. Gonna look into that. Great video and lots of ideas. Thanks

Great gift ideas! People complain that the crossbars on the Coleman cot are difficult to put in. Is that true in your experience?
Yes, especially when new or in the cold. After a few times is snaps on no problem but at first you have to really pull it.
Thanks for your feedback. My old army cot takes two men and a boy to snap the crossbar into place.
Great ideas...Do you have any advice for setting up the cots? We have them and it is almost impossible to get the last pin on.
