Very informative video. I really appreciate you passing along your knowledge to us fellow trappers. Since I am totally new to trapping, the info you pass along is the most useful I have found on UA-cam. Thanks again.
It's a great set I use it here in Idaho with fake fur. I grew up in Illinois, my dad taught me this one back in the 50's. Alot of fox fell for that set. We didn't have coyotes back then.
@@bmxdude1337 I'm trapping skunks at the moment. They are feasting on my bear bait. Caught 9 this week. The grouse and turkey nests are a little safer here.
I appreciate you putting out great videos sir. Im definitely putting this in my bag of tricks. As akways very informative. Keep them coming please Sir and thanks.
This set is gonna go on my line next fall. I can’t use steaks in a lot of my sets due to ground being black muck. It never really freezes. But this will work with drag I think. Thanks dale
Also i comend you for taking the time to help me because im just getting into traping and dont know much but the animals are teaching me very quickly lol but i really do appreciate it for the help
What a great video Dale ! I never saw òr heard anything like this b4 nowadays. This sure is sweet set. I definitely going to be using this set. Thank Dale !! Where would you be putting the lure at ?
I will record it and find some way to send it to you but i really feel these two cats arent scared of humans ,im not shure why that is or how they got comfortable but the will come within 50 yards and get up in a tree and his and scream and do a really deep growl
After seeing your video on this the other day I planned to make a couple of these sets today and did at my first location. I got to my second location And had a yote caught on a lake dam on a dirt hole and he completely ruined my set but this set is perfect for a catch circle remake. I'm a tic tok guy and made a video giving you all the credit for posting this. Is it OK with you if I post an mention you and your channel here?

Great video Dale
Thank you Jim. I appreciate you watching
Lots of deer hides to be had in November. Ever use a square of a fresh deer hide instead of dried? I guess the dried is more difficult to steal.
I've used Both fresh and dried. The fresh may hold a bit more appeal to them than the dried. Both work pretty good though. Thanks for watching buddy
Thats very cool Dale! I do't think we can use it in Illinois though! Good luck with everything my friend!
You can if you use fake fur or poly fill or cotton balls I believe Mark? Thank you for watching
@@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 I will try it brother!
Good luck to you Mark

Definitely a good one
Thanks for watching Christopher
I have watched several hundred trapping videos & no one has ever mentioned anything like this.
Well could be a good thing or bad Bill depending on how you look at it 😆. Thanks for watching
Mr dale is it common for cats to raise hell vocally when your out putting out lure and traps?
I've never heard it Johnny
What a great video Dale ! I never saw òr heard anything like this b4 nowadays. This sure is sweet set. I definitely going to be using this set.
Thank Dale !!
Where would you be putting the lure at ?
On the staked hide Chip. Thank you for watching
Great tip throw a piece of deer hide down
Thank you for watching FBI. I appreciate it

That's very odd behavior for sure
would you put lure on this set .. if so where at
Yes Eric a good food or call type lure on the hide or feathers. Thanks for watching these videos
I know you like split rings ….I find they’re hard to remove from the cable….am I doing something?
Big screw driver or a pair of pliers stuck into the split and you can get the cable right out

You mention you use 5-10’ chain?! Isn’t that hard to bury?
Dig the trap bed deeper just me. I'll do a video in a couple days when I get back home from the Furtakers rendezvous on how to fix that problem
