Tatum is shooting 26 percent from 3 these playoffs. Thats literally the issue. He shot 37 in the reg season. If he makes a couple more 3s a game he is averaging 30 10 6 in the offs on good efficiency
but we have to hear about him taking too many tough shots when it’s literally not his game anymore
Boston will sweep them.
Pacers don’t play defense; Tatum and/or Brown dropping 40 every night.
great breakdown as always Jason. WE'RE SO CLOSE BAYBAY. GO C'S 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
Great work with your insight, feedback, and breakdowns as always Jason!

Don't get too excited because Dallas and Minnesota are good pick and roll teams and if Boston can't figure it out how to protect their bigs on the pick and roll they will get torched. Indiana is an inferior team but they are mostly getting their points in the pick and roll in half cout
The west is so much better its crazy.
think Haliburton aggravated his injury during that turnover end of game 1. u see him grab at hamstring after he hits the table
If you remember they let him come back to early during the season and he couldn't get through the game. That was the biggest mistake the pacers made this year.
They never go away in high demand team sport if they don't get minimum of 8 weeks rest on the initial injury
That was one of the worst turnovers I have ever seen a All-Star do. Nobody touched him. He just completely lost control of the ball on his own. It’s like the pressure got to him.
Or are you saying he injured it and then the turnover happened? If that’s the case then yeah, that makes sense why the turnover happened
@@youtubeconnollyfamily could be that too.
Celtics make getting to the CF look so easy people be getting mad even tho most franchises would kill for one appearance
FACTS
How many championships does Tatum have?
@@jasondh4777 he has 0 as of today. What's your point?
@@Whyypreeeeeeeeee man you Celtics fan are delusional lmao
@@Whyypreeeeeeeeee you taking like conference finals mean anything
It don’t matter unless u get a chip brother
Idk why people act like Celtics didn’t have to play EVERY team in the NBA and still only had 18 Ls. Yes they even played the west.
and they got beated twice by denver 💀 celtics are a great team but in theese years have mainly underachieved and the East teams are mainly worse than the west teams... you can check It in the difference of records of those 2 conference..... if i remember correctly this season the west has won nearly 60 more games than the East... THATS A BIG DIFFERENCE
@@leonardo_mrll Man handled? Both games were extremely close tf are you on about.
@@ImBluecams still lost both games and did not even slightly trying to negate that the East Is way easier than the west (celtics are a great team regardless but lets be honest now they had 60 win only cuz they were in the East)
@@leonardo_mrll Yeah no the east has been a cakewalk for 20+ years. The fact that the Heat who are very mid have been in the finals 2 of the last 4 years is very telling. I was just saying, compared to the Celtics, no team in the West is vastly better. Like yeah the Nuggets won that regular season series, but both games were extremely close. Celtics also split with the Timberwolves and won outright against the Mavericks so it’s not like they’re fodder compared to the top even 3-4 west teams. Some teams just make for better matchups against others. Like the Thunder usually win against the Celtics, but they lost against the Mavs in the playoffs who again, lost outright to the Celtics.
@@ImBluecams dont waste your breath brotha
This series has a sweep written all over it. Either a gentleman sweep or regular sweep. Lets just watch the WCF.
What does gentleman sweep mean? New fan
@@alejandroblancofelix4537 You lose 4-1 instead of 4-0
Damn, that banner at the bottom, it gets me every time... I just see the team logos and the score...
Love you, Jason! Keep up the good work.
They remind me of the Warriors with Kevin Durant. Each night one of them might score 30+. When Porzingis comes back, he might score 50 just to remind ppl he’s the unicorn. Tatum scored 33 cpl nights ago, 36 the other night. What’s more scarier about this team is that they play defense. The Warriors didn’t give a crap about that.
Only thing this is missing is the visual...but great show!
Jaylen is Boston’s best player. Tatum’s a more dynamic scorer, but Jaylen is more reliable more consistent and more aggressive. Three major attributes you expect from your Superstar players, Tatum lack’s in high pressure situations & Jaylen excels at it…!
Bro we gotta get JJ Reddick to put Jason on the end of the bench 💯 my dream pod would be Jason and JJ talking hoops man 💪🏾
Haliburton played the hammy card a bit early so he's going to walk it back. But expect him to keep a low profile in the 1st half and if they get blown out I don't expect to see him in game 4.
Love the show you should go on Gil’s arena it would be a basketball seminar.
They wouldn’t respect what he has to say🤦🏽♂️ Too arrogant
Do you get paid if your promotion is recorded with the mic muted?
Do you think the C's, if they don't win the Ship this year, do they consider trading JT before singing him to an extension and restart, reshuffle and restock the team for a new iteration and stay competitive for the next 5 years?
Jason can you explain why Rick Carlisle pulled his starters when there was still 10+ minutes left in the 4th?
They gave up. Still have other games to win. The warriors are famous for that
Pacers were going to make this at least a 6 game series. If Haliburton re-injured his hamstring, they will be lucky to win a game.
Im fine with Boston haters but you can’t be saying ‘celtics only win bc other teams were injured’ and ‘celtics suck bc they can’t beat an injured team’ it’s nuts. Not every championship goes through fully healthy teams ie kawhi’s raptors. You can hate boston but at least have a legit reason.
Celtics far and away had the best record in the NBA with 64 wins, 50 wins was the 2nd best in the Conference, and second best in the NBA were two teams tied with 57. Pacers had only 47 wins. Mavs had only 50. Timberwolves 56. So Celtics had over 25% more wins than the remaining teams on average (51).
@@bigneiltoo in the... Eastern conference, look at their record vs Western conference teams and the picture becomes clearer
We will find out soon enough how good Boston truly is in the finals.
Ya I mean I think it’s fair to comment at THIS point that good lord it’s like they are being gifted injured teams. All 3 teams have been hobbled to be a shell of themselves. They may win regardless but we’ll never know. To be honest, Tatum has been just not as fire as I want him to be from a field goal efficiency perspective this playoffs and yes they are winning so it’s okay but I’d have liked to see more clutch shots from Tatum.
@@nikhilmalik62 What a whiner. Boston had 64 wins this year. Next best were two teams tied with 57 (both now eliminated). Indiana won 47 games. Hint: Boston didn't need an injured 47-win team in order to win. PS - Tatum had 36 points in game 1 and 10 in the OT.
Mazulla should play Brisette more. Dude is a baller
Hope I'm proven wrong, but Indiana looks like a team that doesn't belong in the ECF. Everyone talks about Boston's easy path, but Indiana can count their blessings for having made it so far after facing 2 decimated teams.
Tatum plays too much with his back to the basket and then goes for a step back. He should be copying Jaylen Brown and get to the basket and foul line. Also stop throwing your hands in the air and complain to refs.
It would be helpful to show video when you do these analysis. It’s kind of confusing to picture what you are talking about
Jason for lakers coach next year🙏😂 honestly have 100% faith you would be better than Ham lol
the celtics are bigger everywhere. giving up 1 size mismatch with turner, or a speed mismatch with siakam isn’t a big deal. if the pacers try to abuse it, they’ll be playing the iso/mismatch game, which the celtics are going to win. the pacers do much better when pushing, but they also give up a bunch of transition buckets too even on makes, so they aren’t building enough of an advantage on transition.
12-0 run in game 1. 20-0 run in game 2.

Pascal went off in the post, but if Porzingis was here. He would not.
Great job dude and thank you for being very fair!

Tyrese "Happy Feet" Haliburton's favorite song " Gimme 3 Steps " by Lynyrd Skynyrd ... the Celtics are going to be well rested when the Finals start and face whatever exhausted team emerges from the West
Boston has the best team in nba and probably best starting 5 also. Lets see if that is enough for them to win the title. Based on results this season they deserve to win.
Even if you think the western teams are better, Boston will be much more rested and that is a huge advantage.
I am a Nugget fan, but I would like our Luka to win with Dallas.
I think Dallas will face Boston, but do not think they will beat them in the 7 game series.
PS: Media hate for Boston is idiotic and I do not understand that. Boston is clearly the best team in the league with the best record. Period.
Dallas' interior defense is slightly better than Boston's, but their perimeter defense isnt even in the conversation.
Not enough injuries for the Pacers to win. They need for the opposition to have at least 2-3 key guys out.
Pacers don't have the players for defence..yet.. next season they will.
Problem now is that hamstring. They reoccur if they don't get a full minimum of 8 weeks rest. Came back early it reoccured and then now it occurs again. There medical staff stuffed up. Now tyrese has a career problem as hamstrings keep coming back if you don't treat the initial injury correctly.
Your Celtics bias was terrible all year. Sounding better now
This for Hayward /kyrie getting hurt In 16
That was ‘18 where y’all should’ve played the Warriors that year.
@@anthonymartin3415we had a chance buh rookie tatum against lebron in his prime isnt a good match up, plus players like terry slowed down towards the end of the series
Get the brooms out 😂😂😂😂😂😂
NOBODY is beating the Celtics 4 times this postseason. 🥷☘️
I dont want to hear about injuries to Tyrese Haliburton. Step up no excuses.
Truth. However I’m an alliance guy myself. 😤😤😤
Bro stop and putting some respect on Jrue H mane
Bro, how do they keep getting away with never playing against the other team's best player
Yeah, I don't think it would have mattered for any of these teams, dude.
Apparently, winning a lot gives you a lot of rest.
Not sure which team you're talking about.
@@arrellehnisrael8229 He was referring to Boston because Haliburton just got hurt.
@@mikotagayuna8494 ok
Why in Gods name did you not try for being a pro tight end
If history tells us anything, its to not listen to this guy when he makes ANY prediction. He's a prisoner of the moment and HE HIMSELF has said that he's extremely biased towards players he likes. Boston in 4 no matter WHAT
Thibs’ fault.
JT needs a new trainer
Celtics won, but good lord Tatums inconsistency as a first team All-NBA player is still so concerning. Didn’t get hot AGAIN until Boston was up double digits. Need him to get going from the jump
Tabum is a flop in the post season more often than not. It's mind boggling but seems like he doesn't want it bad enough... hope he proves me wrong. Boy just walks up the court when everyone else is jogging or running... no excuse for that lack of effort. What are you tired from??
It’s all good Tatum doesn’t need to put 50pts with this type of team. Now go to a corner and cry! 😢🍑👋🏽🥷☘️
Better than never cuz Celtics can give up double digits lead fast like Game 1
as a Celtics fan, I sadly agree
Brown had the hot hand, JT would be a terrible teammate if he wanted to jack up numbers-bro did the right thing and passed. Got the criticism on JT is insane
celtic in the east was like lebron in the east. nobody was there. thats why he went to conference finals every year 😂. if nba is serious they would just mix all of them up like champions league. but no nba want to be mediocre so bad and cant get out of their own way. ie if you want to avoid tanking then dont make the lottery pick probability in their favor. we have obvious solutions but the nba hell bent at being mediocre
this tatum tough shot making thing has to stop he’s passed that point as a player and it’s becoming a tired narrative. he CANT hit open 3s. don’t know if it’s the added muscle, but this year he has to be one of the worst wide open 3pt shooters in the league. he only makes tough 3s. other than that, he lives in the midrange; where some shots get contested but not really tough shots.
Holy Celtics fanboys in the comments. 😂 Whoever they play in the finals will be the first ACTUAL opponent they’ve faced since the playoffs started.
Jalen > Jason
😴 series.
What a joke
If Boston don’t win the chip trade brown and fire mazulla
Or just bandwagon to another team. Please do that now.
Honestly, I wanna have a real conversation about how weak the Eastern Conference has been since the turn of the century! There’s been 23 champions so far and only, 8 have come from the East in that time period and most basketball fans know that Boston probably will lose to whoever comes out of the West this year too! ❤ 😅
Easiest Finals Paths In NBA History:
:
1983-84 Los Angeles Lakers (54-28)
2022-23 Denver Nuggets (53-29)
1984-85 Los Angeles Lakers (62-20)
2012-13 Miami Heat (66-16)
2019-20 Los Angeles Lakers (52-19)
Mavs ain’t all that
That doesn’t even make any sense, why the hell does the West winning more in past seasons. Affect the circumstances and the matchups today?
@@nickh3559 and the Celtics have played very well against Minnesota this season
True, and half of those chips were because the east had a literal superteam.
the problem with jt even though i love his game to death is that settling too much on threes and fadeaways i just think jt needs to take his man down low postup he is too strong to just be settling for jumpers
U hate how Luka complains after every play lebron do the same thing it’s not a good look
Jason literally hates Tatum dudes a box score watcher dude just hates the Celtics
No no no, not if🍀make it there 😂 don’t wish negative
