What's up Scott! I am watching your video right now and I love your videos and channel. You are an awesome storyteller. Would you ever do a video on H.H. Holmes America's first serial killer? You are awesome and amazing. I just subscribed to your channel.
wow i would love to see all the artists that started thru there help contribute now to get the word out and help build VIP back to what it was... hell it should be a tourist attraction.
The bad thing is this type of business isn't needed anymore these days so many people can and are getting famous from social media and they don't have to share there earnings with anyone else.
Nate Dogg served his country proudly in the Marines Semper Fi!!! On a side note "I Keep Forgettin'" made it to #4 on the Billboard charts so they took it up two notches. Thanks for all the sweet music Nate RIP
RIP Nate! I have to give it to Scott, your content is amazing. There is no other influencer that goes this in-depth with historians. Thank you for documenting VIP’s history.
Fantastic conversation with Mr. Anderson of World Famous VIP Records. How amazing is it that he has continued his store & is creating a museum. He has made & witnessed not only musical history, but cultural history as well. Those photos are priceless! LA riots, the Jacksons, & of course he knows Rick James! This is the good that can come from supporting other channels & promoting businesses. It was so great to see Jeff from 909 Adventures in this video. I always appreciate the both of you for many reasons and wish you both continued success. Take care.
that was a great sweet video and it was cool that that place was still there and did not get ruin from the riot and to meet someone who knew all those famous people is more cool you should of sang a song lol you should of give it a shot who knows it could be a hit!! but thanks for sharing Nate Dogg and where he is resting in peace and that he was to young to leave this world to soon glad his son is keeping his legend still going
Hello there Scott and Jeff Shannon here Nate Dogg was very young when he Pass Away from Complications of a Stroke he was 41 Year's Old. Young and Talent and it is Great that he's Son is Following in his Father Footsteps, "King of Hooks" He may be Gone But Not Forgotten! Thanks Scott Amazing 😍🤩 Video. R.I.P. Nate Dogg "King of Hooks" August 19, 1969 - March 15, 2011 41 Year's Old. 👑💐🙏👼❤️💔🌹🥀🕯️ 🕊️✝️💜❤

So glad to see a new upload. In the hospital recovering from major surgery. I'm not awake very long. Thank you for the update on Nate Dogg. Beautiful grave and I appreciate the background on Nate Dogg. I liked Nate Dogg and the earlier rappers. And I love me some Snoop Dogg and Tupac. May Nate Dogg rest in peace. ❤️🕊️🙏 Thank you my friend. I gotta play catch up. Been in a coma.
I just love your music Nate Dogg especially the one me and my music. I play it over and over and over and know all the words to it. You deserve the best r I p dude with all the love god bless may rest
What I loved about Nate Dogg, is that the lyrics were gangsta but his voice was Church. You can hear it in the delivery, and the soulful spirit overall. His songs/hooks comprised my discovery of hip hop/rap, and later were the soundtrack to some of the best moments of my young life. 🥺 Thank You for your voice Nate, rest in Heavenly peace. ❤️
Very interesting video. I almost lost your UA-cam channel because I nearly wiped out my information trying to clear up some space. I am glad I didn't forget my passwords. Don't smoke weed every day😆😆😆😆
What a wonderful video and a great person the record store fellow is! Gosh, I would love to meet him. He's so interesting to listen to! I sure do miss the old record stores. I grew up on vinyl records and it will always be my number one choice. I feel sorry for musical artists today, they are up against a lot just trying to make a buck. I just love all kinds of music, they all have their place in my heart and I wish the best for all of those struggling and would say just keep pressing on. Their day will come. I absolutely love the new headstone. It's a true remembrance of a great artist who left to soon but who's legend will live forever. RIP ❤️💐
Regulate what a tune. Takes me back to my teen days. Nate dogg was brilliant. RIP Nate Dogg "King Of Hooks" Gotta' Be Handy With The Steel If You Know What I Mean, "Earn Your Keep". Great Video Scott as always my friend stay safe and well. Best wishes from Liverpool UK 🙏✌

This was freaking awesome Scott, i know i say it all the time on your videos, but genuinely enjoyed this video right from start to finish, i cant fault it, I loved the interview you did with the guy at the start, not only was it a good interview but i loved all the questions you asked him, they were spot on and wow had no idea that was the same building where snoop was rapping on the roof top, i remember watching that music vid when first released and only seen the location now thanks to you, there were so many different things about Nates death i had no idea what to believe, this is why i loved this video because you always give the rl news with true research, I had no idea Nates son was doing well too until you mentioned it there at the end, this video gets a 10 out of 10 from me, everything you covered in hip hop locations and interviews have been amazing, im hoping you can do more hip hop locations like this, i truely enjoy them. I love what it says on Nates Grave at the end "It aint a hit, till Nate Dogg spit", i think the grave designers did an amazing job on that, Awesome video as always, real sorry i had to put a long comment, it was that good i had so much to say about it, hope you forgive me scott lol
@@SCOTTONTAPE thanks Scott. I'm glad you did too as its a well deserved comment. You made a huge effort in this video. As I said before I really hope you can do more hip hop stuff too even though I don't mind anything from you 😁
I used to chit chat with snoop Dogg on social media and still do almost a year, I am sure he is resting in peace. Flights if angels sing thee to thy rest.
I’m mad they didn’t make VIP records a landmark building along with Tower Records on Sunset Boulevard. Can’t believe they made it a 7/11. R.I.P. Nate Dogg ✨
Scott, Snoop Famously shouts out Kelvin on the song Vapors. "He Tried to get this Job at Kelvin's record shop. He was in it to win it, but the boss fronted, and said sorry Warren G but, there's no help wanted." Kelvin's a very nice guy. I've been there at the original location, and bought a R.I.P. Nate Dogg shirt, says We Still Got Love on the back.
Before auto tune there was Nate Dogg.
Rest in peace ❤
Haha yes sounds about right, no autotune needed for him he had such a great voice
Auto tune was around before Nate Dogg. Zapp and Roger used it all the time but it was called the "talk box".
HECK YES WHEN I SCROLLED ON THIS VIDEO I INSTANTLY STARTING SINGING SANTA CLAUS 😂😂😍😍😍😍
The owner of the VIP record shop is precious! What an exciting life! I wish him continued success!
