4:45 Bloody hell even after you warned us I wasn't expecting it to be that bad! And after looking it up apparently it was a party of police and he was a cop too, don't remember that at all.
Yeah I’d never heard about this incident either. Wonder what the general reaction was at the time and whether it was similar or less than the reaction to the 2009 Hey Hey incident?
@@davidthegreen To be honest I remember with the hey hey thing at the time I was wondering what the huge fuss was about, hadn't really thought anything either way about the topic apart from it being tacky and outdated. A bit of ignorance on my part basically but I didn't have a problem with the intention behind it. Police overtly making fun of deaths in custody like that though is just on a whole different level, I'd guess it got less attention because things like that didn't exactly go 'viral' in 1992 like they would in 2009!
Before Mike Hammond hosted Gladiators and became the voice of Foxtel
FINALLY. I have been waiting for a new episode from this. :D

Mr Perkins' hyperbole was incredible, justified, and sadly still relevant.

@@Roger__Wilco And yet even today you can just about set your watch by Australia having another blackface costume party incident every 6 months
I've read that one of the guest stars of this program was Bridget Neval. Do you have the episode(s) where she was in?
I’m afraid not. Just this one.
@@davidthegreen :-( Thanks anyway.
Was the deaths in custody one a bit or was it real? Because honestly 1992 tv was so wild I can't tell.
It's obviously not a real breaker but the stats are correct (or at least they were in late 2020 when I recorded this)
