- Try This Easy Beginning for Your Next Pastel Painting! - Using Pan Pastels
I'm happy you have joined me for an enchanting painting lesson, where we'll create a delightful scene of autumn flowers with a charming barn nestled in the distance.
In this lesson, I'll guide you step-by-step on how to use Pan Pastels to create a beautiful underpainting on an affordable yet effective surface - Canson Mi-Tientes unsanded pastel paper. This paper receives the Pan Pastels wonderfully, making it perfect for this project.
We'll start by crafting our underpainting using Pan Pastels, setting the stage for a vibrant and textured piece. After laying down our initial layers, we'll enhance the painting with regular stick pastels, adding depth, dimension, and a burst of color to bring our autumn flowers and barn scene to life.
Don't worry if you don't have Pan Pastels; you can still follow along using regular pastels in similar colors.
This lesson is designed to be both fun and educational, providing valuable tips and techniques for artists of all levels. Join me in this creative journey and let's paint a picturesque autumn scene together!

I love that song.😀
@@monetcafeme too...
I used to sing it in E maj. but I've dropped it a whole interval to D maj. Just to be in key.
I'm all grown up now, so my voice is getting deeper. Lol ;)
@@JLPrice-kc2uy same here.... I actually used to sing in a band when I was younger and I sang the Journey songs because the lead singer couldn't hit those high notes... ha ha. I definitely can't sing that high now!
@@monetcafe Are you still writing..?
All my children would like it if I would settle down and write something before I go... : |
Got any ideas for a washed up artist-singer, and half-*** preacher..?
