- Today is part 1 of the last two sea days on board Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas. Today we enjoyed a rocky day at sea but still managed to make the most of it, at night, we ate at Giovanni's specialty restaurant and saw the broadway show Cats!

I heard that sailing in/out of NYC as well as Galveston can be more rocky than other ports.Try Bonine, it’s less drowsy version of Dramamine, chew one every 24hrs.You can’t get it in Canada though.Another great vlog! 🎉

it feels like its been so long! It was nice to take a break over Christmas but we're back at it and REALLY excited for the cruises we have booked this year. I forgot how much we loved the Oasis class ships, so much fun! Hope you had a great Christmas and New Years as well!

During the peak times or events there's usually music other than that there's some quiet times. Usually the pool deck has a DJ/band during the day, there's a band in the promenade at night and the boardwalk was a bit spotty but they had the occasional band/music going. Thanks for watching! 😎🍻☀️

Hahaha! when Creed says something "Just pretend like we're talking until the cops leave " 😂 The Abyss was actually pretty fast it was fun, the view alone was really cool definitely worth a try! ☀️🍻😎
Yes!! Creed is one of my 6 favorite Office characters. I'll be sure to check out the Abyss if I make it onboard an Oasis-class. I also had a few questions about your waterfall excursion last year in Amber Cove, Dominican Republic. It seems like Ryan wore regular street sneakers? So, I can just wear regular tennis shoes/sneakers, and I don't have to worry about "water-shoes"? And, was there some sort of lockers to rent at the staging area to put your backpack in? And, you mentioned in another comment on that video that you booked it thru Shore Excursioneer.... do you know if I can just print out my booking confirmation to show them my ticket/receipt.... so I don't have to worry about having my phone with me? @@PatrickWagz Hey! Great questions! I did just wear regular shoes you can totally do that if you don't care about them getting wet. We think the lockers were fairly inexpensive $5-8 depending on the size, you can also rent water shoes from what I remember. You can just print out the form for shore excursioneer, make sure you read the instructions on how the company wants the final payment to be paid (Cash, credit). My experience with the water slides is if u wear a shirt it slows you down. That boat was so rocky on the way home, they had to close the pools. But it was such a good time
They ended up closing all the pools on the next Sea Day as well! Just got worse. I did hear this from someone else that wearing the shirt was a mistake, I'll have to give it another try! 😎🍻☀️

Hey! This was in September 2023 and Kala did end up taking the pills offered by guest services for motion sickness and she said it really helped! 😎☀️🍻

Did the medicine help at all? Im kind of terrified because I want to go on a cruise but it will be my first time and not sure if I will get sea sick. Do you feel it all the time, or just rougher seas?
It did help! It's different for everybody but generally it's worse with rougher seas. For the most part, I find that you don't even notice you're on a cruise ship. Try to get your cabin in the mid-ship and if you're on a bigger ship, that'll help too. ⚓😎🍻☀️
How many people walked out of cats?
I'm sure there were a few but I don't recall any or there being an abundance of people leaving. I'm sure some people just either wanted to get on with their evening or had other plans.☀️🍻😎
The biggest problem with the slides was your swim shirt....it causes so much drag on the slide surface. Next time take it off and you'll fly!
