Welser-Möst: Bruckner's Ninth contains frightening dance music

Austrian conductor Franz Welser-Möst returned to the first Czech orchestra to offer Violin concerto No. 5 by Mozart and Anton Bruckner's last symphony to the Prague Rudolfinum. Both composers are said to have loved dance music, but each approached it differently. In Bruckner's Symphony No. 9, Möst says, there is " frightening dance music."
