- I've been messing around with the LS MT225s doing a lot of mowing, and I thought why not make a video showing how to remove and install the mid mount mower. Hopefully this will help someone out who might be stumped or worried that they don't know how to do it!

Great work!! I have the MT225s and I use a 48" flail mower on mine for cleaning along the driveway and woods. We have a zero turn for the yard and garden areas for mowing. The drive-over mower is really nice and I watched your other video of you mowing the yard with it. It did a beautiful job mowing. Great videos ! thanks.

Very well done. Most people would probably only take it on and off one or two times per year so having to fiddle with it a bit would not be a problem. I think other manufactures have drive over which are a little more automatic. But if that is what you want it will cost more.
Yeah I think you're right. Most probably won't take it off too often, but it's nice knowing it's easy to do 👍

@ericwoolman8276 no buddy I have not tried one of those yet. Down at the dealer conference I saw one all decked out with a grapple and a backhoe. Would be interesting to see what it could do 👍

I love the front swivel wheels on the mower deck. I mower with a rear 3pt finish mower. I do have to watch my turns mowing where you don't.
I'm surprised your finish mower doesn't have swivel wheels. But yeah that would tear up a yard pretty quick

Is this deck heavy duty? It looks like it's stamped versus forged. Thank you for any information.
Does the mt225 have a hydrostatic fan underneath like the xj2025 or does it have the oil cooler thanks

No I thought of that too but the rear one is bigger so it would fall off the mid pto shaft 👍

I have to say… the juice is not worth the squeeze! Too much trouble! I’ll use a rear brush hog or a zero turn
I didn't think it was too bad to be honest. I've had harder times hooking implements on my 3 point hitch lol. I can't use a zero turn on my steep banks so this tractor helps me a lot 👍
