The Miss Superset III had a Rolls-Royce Griffin engine, there is a step-up gear box between the prop shaft and the Griffin (engine RPM maxed out at 2500 to 3000, "wet sponsons", the bottom of the hull if I'm not mistaken had magnesium sheet applied to it then painted, the transom has a magnesium plate applied to it as well.
