Aramaic \ Syriac \ neo Assyrian \ neo Chaldean \ Hebrew \ Jesus christ language \ Alphabet learning
Aramaic is the original language of the semetic people...this language cannot die.
It should be taught in all schools in Semetic world for historical purpose.
Aramaic>Syriac>Arabic>Hebrew
Agreed! I’m an Arab- Iraqi but I’m teaching myself this amazing language because it shouldn’t be forgotten. It’s full of history!
@@timaa.4379i'm too iraqi and try to learn syriac
The original semitic is proto-semitic.
Aramaic is a sister language of hebrew and arabic. Hebrew uses old square aramaic script, and the language is probably older than aramaic, derived from phoenician, which is derived from proto-semitic.
But I agree, aramaic is a Nice language. If you know hebrew it is easy to learn aramaic. I love aramaic and I will be fluent in aramaic
Languages develops verbally first.
Thus scripts are not a good point to study languages development.
You are very smart Beyonder :)
This is absolutely Fascinating! I know both the Arabic and the Hebrew scripts, and this is a mixture of the two!
Arabs have some things in common with the Jews.
Beautiful language inshAllah I will learn it.

wow you cant imagine how happy i was watching this video. it reminded me of my childhood when i was watching this program everyday in a kurdish channel. i didnt understand anything but i was writing the letters down and listening to the songs hehe Thanks a lot!!!
Marvellous language. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
😍😍😍
I listen to this everyday and multiple times a day!
arabic, hebrew and aramaic (assyrian/syraic) are all semitic and related languages
@baghdeda
one thing that should be clear is Arabic was derived from Aramaic and the neo-Aramaic what you usually hear now days is comparing new English to old English. same thing but evolved and obviously different dialects from different regions. Assyrian and Babylonian are ethnicity's not a language.
@justinelhillow There more like dialects really... Comparing Arabic to Aramaic is like comparing Modern English to Old English
So proud this is my family's language.
I totally agree I wish schools focus more on languages, I mean imagine if we learned Aramaic, Hebrew, English, and French in addition to Arabic.
InshAllah someday that will happen.
It's actually identical to the Hebrew Alphabeth (except the shapes of course)
for someone who knows heb and arab perfact and also understand aramic from
home
it is like going back to childhood
This is the Nestorian or Eastern pronunciation (the so called "Assyrian"), and as you can hear, it is influenced by Mesopotamian Arabic, in vowels in particular. When I hear this I feel like a Khaliji person is speaking Aramaic. To the contrary, the Aramaic spoken at Ma3loula sounds like the Arabic of Damascus/Syria, which is probably the closest sounding Arabic dialect to the ancient Aramaic.
Alaha umokhoon.
🙏❤️
Aramaic is beautiful and in my opinion is the mother tongue of Hebrew because jewish people in Jesus times spoke aramaic and in fact aramaic was jesus language!!. I think that Abraham spoke aramaic as well !!!!!!!!! =)
Abraham also spoke chaldean
Long live the Aramean people! From a free Hebrew. We deserve two states that together comprise the land of Qedem (Levant), one is Canaan and is for the Canaanite-Hebrew people, and the other is Aram for the Aramean people.
Wow,....the Aramaic Alphabet,....a beginning to learning Our Lord Yeshua's language,...thumbs up to ya Juliana and thankin' ya for the AWESOME UPLOAD!! = D
@axatoramus the latest found that Arabic language founded between Iraq and Syrian!
@Romanov93 Placing a "majleeana" ( ~ ) under gamal turns the letter to jamal with a "J" sound. Placing a "dipaa" ( period ) under gamal changes the
sound of the letter to a "gh" sound.
She is singing in Eastern Aramaic dialect (aka Neo-Assyrian/Chaldean Aramaic).
catchy tune
Arabic did not derive from Aramaic. Arabic, Aramaic and Hebrew are sister languages, all belonging to the West Semitic branch (Hebrew and Aramaic in the North West sub -branch). What is true is that the Arabic SCRIPT derived from the Syriac script.
Sounds Like Arabic Thank You
@acherchar4 right! Assyrian and Babylonian are different dialects of Akkadian. And Aramaic is a sister language of Akkadian, just like French and Italian, or Arabic and Hebrew etc
Jesus in Aramaic is "yesho'o"

Very similar to the Hebrew alphabet
Alon Alian of course, the two alphabets are siblings. They originate from the same alphabet. In a sence, they are the same alphabet with different fonts.
Its the same alphabet. Alef beit gimel dalet he waw zain het tet yod kaf lamed mem nun samak ayn fe sadi qof resh shin taw
@misolico both Hebrew and Syriac/Aramaic alphabet came from the Proto-Sinaitic alphabet, they are bros.
@Merry200
The Arab pronunciation of letters are the same in Aramaic, Syriac, Hebrew and Thamoud these dialects origin and one
Arabs in ancient times was called semitic
Theyre actually not the same but similar sounding
DOONY'E is Hindi for world, heewee is Kurdish for hope, misdrashta is Arabic for high school, waleeta is from turkish vilayet and other Foreign words.
Chaldeans of today aren't the Chaldeans of ancient Mesopotamia.
When Assyrians converted to Catholicism, the Pope and Catholic Church gave them the name "Chaldean".
Chaldeans are simply Catholic Assyrians, while Assyrians are Orthodox, but we're all Assyrian! :]
Chaldeans actually werent originally assyrian they had theyre own empire up until they met and mixed with the assyrians :]
Yes all are Semitic, and the languages are very close. think of it like the Latin based languages (french, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese they are all related and are close) its the same with Aramaic, Arabic, and Hebrew.
this video reminds me of something from arabic tv, this sounds like arabic tv with background music.

I am not sure but I think that the Chaldean is a variety of Aramaic language which was spoken during the rule of the Chaldean dynastys "the new(second) Babylonian empire".
it doesnt have them in the alphabet but we do have those sounds and we make these letter when certain vowels are added just like in English when you have /s/ /sh/ /t/ /th/ /c/ /c/ (well at least the neo- one)
The Arabs themselves are mixture of east Africans and Mediterraneans travellers that lived at the edge of both civilisations, no more no less
As for the language, people in the same country even the same city with few 100 meters apart speak different dialogue, it is clearly that the spoken language in various middle Eastern countries is diverted from Aramaic.
And it did influence the spoken Arabic we have know not the opposite.
It’s like Hebrew, but Aleph makes the /o/ sound, and Ayin makes the /a/ sound.
And the vav makes a waw sound and the bet makes a th sound and the dalep makes a ph sound
Simple, they sound Arabic because Arabic is an Aramaic dialogue, so my friend you Arabs are originally ARAMIC,

In Israel it's around 50% Sephardic, 50% Ashkenazi I should say.
But in the entire world 90% of World Jewry is Ashkenazi Khazar which were originally Gog/Magog Scythians
@oMOHSEN8o Of course, most of us who speak Aramaic also speak Arabic.
@Furaton see the description of the video!

@akmix89 Yes it sound Arabic but with Iraq accent strange.
Baghdeda, what the hell is the difference between Sad'e and Simkath, they both sound the same and it's driving me nuts.
Well, Assyrians, Aramaeans, Babylonians.. and other people of mesopotamia were mixed together after the fall of the Assyrian and Babylonian Empires. And they accepted the Christianity as one nation. So it's ok to call Assyrians or Aramaeans...
i admit that any semitic languages can be write it by arabic letter, don't be angry, why all european languages (most than 40 or 80) write they by latin alphabet,
No, It still the mother language of about one million Assyrian-Chaldaean-Syriac.
I think they should because the relationship between arabic hebrew aramaic is very interesting but however some or many arab muslims are ignorant they think hebrew is a jewish language since its associated with Jews nowdays plus they think aramaic is a christian language. you know hebrew name Yhudah, which means Judah has a arabic root word which in it which is Yhud, which is plural for a Jew.
You've got it the wrong way around. The Aramaeans were ancient nomads who migrated north from Arabia.
no am just saying that the aramic and assyrian languages are not the same as Hebrew language because some one said that this song is a hebrew
exactly

is there a standardization of aramaic? is the site you give the alphabet and standard rules of the people who still speak it today?
Not really because aramaic is not widely spoken nor is it a official langauge of any country

I can't read it without the voweling :(, I know Assyrian but there are many words I don't know since I know Assyrian and English.

Proud to be Christian
Thank You Lord Jesus my daughter learned Hebrew alfabeth songs no I want her Learn aramaic as well the original language of Daddy Jesus
This looks low quality cuz it’s from 2007
Assyrians and Chaldeans are all Iraqi. Chaldeans are just older so it may seem that they are extinct by now, but they were the ones who occupied Baghdad and Zakho, Alqosh, Ankawa and other places. But they are still alive. There are such things as Catholic Assyrians. My uncle would have never married his wife if she wasn't. In all intensity we are the ONLY Christians because we do speak Aramaic, but for the most part, we are different.
Iraqis are arabs actually
BTW, you keep complaining about the Arabs but I can't really see the difference. Look at the examples you're picking: آلاها صوما صليانا ... ?
why is there several styles of this syriac cursive script??? like the "alaph" for example it has different ways to write so whats the different ?
Because theres the phonts that assyrians use and than what the chaldeans use and than what the syriacs or arameans use. And than theres the modernized one
I live in west bloomfield mi.. Can anyone tell me where i can send my son to school to learn how to read, write, and speak fluent chaldean... He knows the basics from me and my mom but i want him to learn fluently....

This is more or less an old Arabic language. WOW I am Arab and I haven't realized how Arabic is Aramiac. Or I shall say how Aramiac is Arabic. The same alphabet in Arabic. Hebrew as well is very close to Arabic but not as close as Aramiac. We can say if you speak Arabic, you almost spoken the language of Christ.
Arabic has many dialects some you can understand some you can't.
Thats not true because rhe arabic alphabet is pretty different in terms of pronunciation
