A Day At Dorney Park in Allentown, PA (Family Vlog 2023)

Dorney Park in Allentown, PA was not at the top of the list of parks we were planning to visit in 2023. (Listen, there are only so many weekends in the summer, and while we always have fun at Dorney, it was on our list for 2024, not 2023.)
However, when some of our plans changed and we ended up driving through the central-eastern part of Pennsylvania, we decided a stop in at Dorney would be fun!
We had a great visit - the crowds seemed overwhelming at first, but almost everyone headed straight into the waterpark for the first part of the day - leaving short lines for all of Dorney's roller coasters (Talon, Steel Force, and Thunderhawk).
The thing that left us slightly flabbergasted was the park's lack of food options - a lot of the food stands were simply closed and the ones that were open had extremely limited menus. (We recognize that it was the end of the season, but Halloween stuff was just about to start!) I spent at least 30 minutes, walking all over the park, looking for RANCH DRESSING for our chicken tenders - only to be turned away at every food stand I tried.
Regardless: we will be back at Dorney Park in 2024 to check out Iron Menace (we can't wait!) - and when we visit this year, we'll bring our own Ranch.
