The Bruins then handled the Rangers, allowed 2 goals total in 4 1/2 games against the Penguins and came within two OT bounces from sweeping the Presidents Trophy-winning Blackhawks. Of course Tampa could sweep them, but their D sucked down the stretch of the regular season, and the Bruins match up 10 times better against them than Toronto. The 2011 series against Montreal was also incredibly tough for the Bruins. Then they easily handled the Flyers, played a really tight series with Tampa (mostly because Tim struggled in that one) and dominated the Canucks with four blowout wins and three tight losses off late goals.
