Of course my great aunt worked for Yawkey until she like 80 and didn't get to see it so I guess we never really know :/
I'll never forget after Toronto scored their 4th goal, a friend messaged me "They got this in the bag." I read that and my heart immediately sank knowing that they would now blow this game. Worst feeling ever.
I had picked the Leafs to win game seven 4-1 after watching Toronto win games 5 and 6. I thought the Bruins were tired and Toronto would skate them off the ice, which they rather did for the first 50 minutes and then thought about the fact that they were up by 3 with less than half a period to go.

On the real, could y'all please do a rewind on the Blue Jackets sweeping the Lightning in 2018? There's so much drama for the Blue Jackets that season and the footage of John Tortorella during that series is unreal. I remember i was in the 6th grade when this game happened. My family are huge Leafs, and Canucks fans, so facing the team that we had all cheered against in the finals just a year ago, was something that perhaps we could extract revenge for. Me and my family sat in the living room, and my eyes were glued to the game, and i’ll never forget two things about that goal. 1. My feeling when the bruins scored. Its like someone had somehow managed to drain all life outta me, to leave me a husk. I was both shocked, angered and saddened. Another year, another dissapointment from Toronto. 2. The look on my fathers face, a life long leafs fan. His face, pained with the same feelings that shared, quickly pit his hands over his face, than rose to go get another beer. My father drank a lot that night, way more than usual. I dont blame him. Even 8 years later the maple leafs are still owned by boston in the same way Cleveland owned Lebronto throughout the mid 2010’s.

Maybe you're saving it for the 2022 Olympics, but Sidney Crosby's golden goal at the 2010 Olympics absolutely needs a rewinder one of these days. Maybe *the* single most dramatic moment in modern hockey history, certainly at the international level, barring maybe the women's gold medal games in 2014 and 2018
On the real, could y'all please do a rewind on the Blue Jackets sweeping the Lightning in 2018? There's so much drama for the Blue Jackets that season and the footage of John Tortorella during that series is unreal. It's the kind of David vs. Goliath story that playoff hockey is extraordinarily good at writing
Probably one of the three best games of hockey I've ever witnessed. Great video.
If you say to me or a Leafs fan “Boston game 7” we are instantly in a bad mood

Boston game 7
Ivory Coast vs. Sudan in 2005 should get a rewind imo. What happened during and after that game helped end a Civil War in the Ivory Coast.
Can't believe this was an entire decade ago...
Forgot to mention that Tuukka Rask was originally a Maple Leaf as well lololol
And traded him for a player about to be released anyway.
So nice to finally see a hockey Rewinder. Hope there are a few more down the line and there are several good ones you could do. Alex Martinez overtime goal against New York, Mike Eruzioni's goal against the USSR, The final faceoff of the 94 Finals between Vancouver and New York, The Golden Goal USA vs Canada 2010 Gold Medal Game, hell even the Throwdown in Motown between Colorado and Detroit.
2 goals in 17 seconds deserves a deep rewind

Eh theres definitely better moments

One of my happiest sports memories, and that's saying a lot considering how many Boston championships I've grown up with

Why man, I was just getting over this.
Jesperi Kotkaniemi's 2OT goal in Game 7 of 2021 Leafs-Habs series deserves a deep rewind.
Sorry! I meant Game 6!
But please take in consideration that I wrote my comment before the series even started. 😘
I think I deserve a deep rewind.
I can't stress enough, I love Patrice Bergeron. The dude is just a consummate professional, he does everything the right way.
I went to the washroom came back and everyone I was with was just quiet. I looked at the score and actually laughed so hard, live in Toronto, wanted the bruins to win that
liverpool's champions league comeback vs barca deserves a deep rewind

Who’s here after watching the Leafs just lose game 7 to the Habs?
Here after watching the maple leafs lose game 7 to the bruins...again
Well Well Well
I was at this game, it was by far my favorite game it went from dead silent to rocking in a few short minutes.
Couldn’t let all Toronto fans have the happiness from the last video so you had to post this lmao

NHL: So Fans who are starved for some playoff Hockey, how much playoff hockey would you like on the first day?
Fans: ....Yes.
You put out some more Boston content so im happy... but we still need a rewinder on Ortiz's grand slam in the ALCS
This video won't get alot of views. But, the views it does get will be passionate and meaningful
100%accurate. I told my wife just last night while watching the Bruins game "I'll never understand why hockey isn't more popular. The passion of hockey fans is like no other "

Hmmm
Got recommended this... Funny that, because IT HAPPENED AGAIN.
I remember seeing a post on Facebook of a leaf‘s fan holding a banner that said “Toronto stronger” as a jab at Boston strong, and that’s when I knew that we wouldn’t lose that series.
Who is here in 2024?
As a leafs fan, this ripped my heart out and stomped on it. Haven’t watched hockey as regularly since.
CLASSIC MOMENT IN THE NHL
I really love this episode. Shout out to who ever did the editing and really nailed that CRT color distortion and warble, also I really liked how this episode highlighted little techniques a that players used. Just highlights the skills that make these amazing players different
Can we get something like this on the 2010 Flyers-Bruins series?
If they're gonna do this to balance out Toronto after the Kawhi shot, got to do that to balance things out for Boston.
NO THANK YOU
Thank you for releasing this before the Habs/Leafs series. I'm a little worried as a Habs fan, but this video gives me hope (with a side of laughter).
If there’s another collapse on an NHL team please do the Ducks went from 4 straight Game 7 heartbreaks at home to now likely getting the #1 pick this July
I think one of the canucks collapse after 2011 could be neat, though the Ducks one may garner more views
@@TransAth that and as a fan of the Ducks I feel it was a much bigger collapse than any other nhl team in the last 15-20 years from 2013-2017 the years they won their division they could’ve easily won the cup so to go from that to a bottom five team in just a couple seasons is just crazy
@@Nick_Simpson007 that string of game 7 losses was pretty remarkable, and ya, they dipped quickly and significantly once the peak has passed.
@@TransAth To add insult to injury all 4 of those series they were up 3-2 in the series but out of all of them the Chicago series hands down hurt the most out of the 4 it was easily their best chance to win another cup and they lost 2 games in that series that required multiple overtime’s
Don't know much about this but if it created both a comeback AND a collapse, I'm interested.
There's only two teams in the NHL that I cheer for: Ottawa and any team that can beat Toronto, LOL.
After tonight's loss to Tampa, who's ready for the Leafs' annual Round 1 Game 7 collapse on Saturday night?
It happened
This is a good start for hockey content! Here’s a few hockey reminders I’d love to see.
Stamkos’ Finals Goal
Fleury’s huge save VS Lidstrom in the finals.
Yzerman’s OT bomb VS St. Louis
Sid’s Golden Goal

You really had to post this right before the playoffs did you
My kid was a few months old at this time, everytime he was up the bruins scordd or won that game. He loved the roar of the crowd and the yellow jerseys I believe. On the day of game 7 I had the devious plan of keeping him up until the game starts and he can have a nice long map. Everything was going perfect I thought as he slept, around the 10 minute mark in 3rd period my kid wakes up...
I looked at the score and thought naw it cant happen. As I was picking him up from his crib I heard the announcer say "Score".
I knew and my heart sank as my kid was all happy and smiling. We both watched the collapse and OT all knowing the Leafs lost.
A friend at work about 8 years later saw my kid rocking a Chara Jersey and he gave him a Boston hat as he was a huge Bruins fan.
I still rooted for Boston against the Nucks in the finals btw.
Easily a top 3 comeback in Boston sports history
2004 ALCS, Game 7 against the Leafs, and 28-3.
Ill never forget this game. Brings back bittersweet memories 🙂😥 Go B’s!
