Astra Greens (I started with a variety pack and landed on them), and Gillette Platinum (my Super Speed loves them), are my two favorites, so I stocked up a bit. I also just discovered Personna Lab Blue, and they are a revelation.

Nacets and Astras (in that order).
At the moment the Nacets are my to-go blades (Leaf Razor for head shaves and Twig for detailling)
I also own some permasharp and a lot of Feathers, but the Feathers are hit and miss for me (sometimes a good shave and sometimes they give me red skin) and they also give me just 1 good shave (the first one).
The Permas are like Astras for the first two shaves but really rough at the 3rd one.

I already own some indian made Astras and honestly there is no difference in performance (at least for my skin) compared to the russian ones.
But I stocked up my Nacets, as its not clear in which country they get produced now as they were intended for the near east markets.

I used Voskhod blades for years. You could buy them all day for $8.50 per 100. The price has now gone up to nearly $30 per 100. That’s what Feathers and Wizamet (Pol-silver) cost. Both of these are better blades than the Voshkies….so I’m dropping them from my blade rotation as soon as I run out of them….80 Voshkies left.

I think there's a lot of drama/hype in regards to P&G getting out of Russia. I get a sense that there's a part of the wet shaving community that have a hard time with change. And maybe rightfully so. I can relate to the time and effort to find the right shaving hardware only to have it chance. My favorites are Nacet, Astra SP, Wilkinson Sword (India), and Personna Lab Blue (USA). If Nacet and Astra were to go away, I'm confident I could find other favorites. I for one will not support the Russian war economy, after their illegal, brutal invasion of Ukraine, so this is good news to me.
There are lots of other great blades to choose from in any case, Wilkinson Sword (made in Germany), Dorco (great brand made in South Korea), Feather (Japan) and some others.
I'm sure Gillette can tool up, with corresponding quality control in other countries, razor blade manufacturing is not exactly cutting edge technology, excuse the pun!

The discussion near the end of the video about buying blades at boutique stores, when the blades were made in Russia, defeats the purpose, in my opinion. I refuse to buy Russian blades on the basis that I disagree with Russian politics and actions. Same with products made in China. I often will go out of my way to spend slightly more on an American-made product (or other countries for that matter) to support jobs at home, than China and nations with ethical qualms.

Even before , wet-shavers have had many other choices than Gillette blades no matter where the blades were made. Some of the alternatives came in sample packs; and some came from the online merchants which allowing buying 5 or fewer blades at a time of many different d.e. blade products.
