I’m really glad that I tuned in today !
I recently bought a new set of headlights for my Z.
My original set had become too hazy even after cleaning them.
I have look at several how to video, but l feel more confident that it want be as taxing as I first feared.
I appreciate the detailed instructions and look forward to tackling more upgrades, with your help.

Sanding is much cheaper than new lights for anyone who stumbles on this in the future. Like 40 bucks for 1 or 50-60 for 2
Thanks for putting this information out. I have a 04 350z Roadster and today I noticed my left front parking and side markers were out. Although I already bought new headlights, I'm going to put some regular ones in there for now then, when I'm ready to install the new lights I'm going to do the retrofit to Las Fit ones like you have.

I'm about to install a set today
Here's another "option/approach" for a 2003/2005 350Z:
HID to halogen "housing downgrade" to LED "bulb upgrade"
(all plug and play parts, no wiring, housing or mounting modifications!):
SELL your nice (or rough) old "HID" headlight housings with ballasts for $150 to $300 a pair (or sell left and right individually) on eBay
BUY new aftermarket "halogen" housings ($205 pair eBay) along with some "8-pin to 6-pin" wiring adapters plug and play ($8 pair on eBay) and Beamtech H7 LED (Mini size) Plug and Play ($39 pair on Amazon or get 2 pairs for high and low beams).
BTW, The low and high beam halogen bulbs are both H7.
It might be a little more work but you'll have all new and bright white headlights ...and possibly break even or profit.
Buy new stuff first ...then sell old stuff😀 (unless you have a second car )

What about the bulb for the high beam? Did you replace it with an led bulb also?

Didn't the 03-05 Z's come with Halogens stock? Atleast that's what I have read everywhere.
No, the 2004 didn't come with halogen bulbs!
@@ZspeedI know mine (04) for sure have the halogens because mine don’t have the ballast.
But I just looked it up, apparently some models do and other don’t ! 😅

My 05 came with Xenon even though the code on the lamp (H7) is halogen

Lasfit should have bulbs that fit the 350z HR.
Are they brighter then oem or they just fit color?

Zspeed I need your help ok I did the Valve cover replacement everything is good but. The car seem to drop idle Every 1 min what can it be please help thank you 🙏
I had a similar issue with poor idle after replacing my spark plugs! Check your coil packs by disconnecting each coil one at a time. If the idle gets worse that coil pack is good, if there is no change, meaning your idle is the same as it currently is that's the bad coil pack! When I say disconnect your coil pack I mean disconnect the wire harness from the coil pack. If the coil packs are ok then check your PCV valve hose for a possible leak, and last but not least, run a code scanner on your ECU! Hope this helps!🏁💯👍
