You are one of my all time favorite youtubers. I am so glad you are back with this series. It gets me out of my head helps me with my mental health brother. Thank you so so much
Same I was just going down hill and gonna sit and doom scroll my phone for three hours but putting these facts on is more interesting than my phone and end up putting it down and just watch tv. Besides commenting obviously
I’ve been having a hard time at work this last few months and seeing new facts videos brightens my day immensely. Thank you so much. Went from bawling on the way home to being so into the video. Great job, keep it up!
As always a very good video. Hope you are feeling well and doing better everyday. I too suffer mental health problems and watching you and a few others help me cope. Thank you and much love from Rockford Illinois.
I thought everyone could do the ear-rumbling thing. What a weird topic. Like, imagine how it first came up. Kind of like how the first person discovered drinking cow's milk.
3:00 Dont worry Matthew, from one Matthew (Matias) to another. I can admit I put ketchup on spaghetti or any kind of pasta whenever it is available. Kind of a nordic thing to eat ketchup with nearly anything. Sometimes even mustard works.😋😋😋
these were interesting especially the Kraft dinner fact, thought poutine was Canada's national dish. Also I love mac and cheese with hotdogs, so nostalgic
I thought you were retiring 😭 im just getting back into your stuff after a few years. Your videos were my confort durring a dark time and it took me a while to come back because it brought back some feelings from the past but now im excited to be back and have your videos for comfort again. Im not sure if people sharing stuff like this makes you feel better as a creator or is annoying and i always wonder that but I appreciate your work.
Wolverine also used to pull claws out on back of hand till the bone claws was introduced. around the time he became more wild like they started to come out between fingers, which makes a lot of sense, also they made the claws more boney which does not make sense with the whole flat blades.
The best way to figure out if youre dehydrated, is to up your water intake, and if you feel better generally, you were dehydrated; which most adults are.
wow, first time in my life that someone gave an explanation for #42. When I asked around about it, no one seemed to understand. So apparently I am in the rare few that has absolute control over the tensor tympani muscle. I can make the noise at will since I was at least a teenager. It's not that useful, I mostly use it to make rythms in my head instead of tapping my legs, but I remember using it to dampen loud noises, without knowing wether or not it would protect my ears.
I can contract my tensor tympani muscle, I think early in my childhood I discovered this while yawning or shortly after and although I am a MD I never thought of researching it. I assumed everyone could do it if focused enough and never bothered to discuss the subject, since it was never on my mind.
rumbler here as well. Although I struggle to do it voluntarily and tend to have it activate involuntarily especially when I am tired or stressed and it can be very annoying to have the sensation running through my head randomly over a few hours. It took a while to figure out what was happening to me.
#16 the mother killed her when she was 18..she was a child political advocate and Aurora was paranoid that there was an international conspiracy jeopardizing her‘experiment’. When Hildegard wanted to be independent, Aurora declared the experiment a failure and killed her..spent the rest of her life in a mental asylum.
A 1945 shot-in-the-dark guess about water was right?!?! Well, mostly…depending on the size of the person, they may need more or less. But, 8 glasses is about right
Ok Matt, you've actually surprised me. I had no idea being able to make the roaring in my ears wasn't something everyone could do. I used to use it to drown out lectures. Ever try tabasco on mac and cheese?
Heinz ketchhup and kraft mac and cheese is a household staple in canada. Not even joking. I have both of those right now and almost had that for dinner.. Try it its really good
5:29 #25 just rocked my little LGBTQ+ supporter world. The traffic cop is...STRAIGHT?! 😱🤪 I'm a '70s baby but never knew anyone in The Village People was straight and then married to PHYLICIA RASHAD?! They met during the run of The Wiz on Broadway & divorced in '82. Thanks for blessing us with the knowledge again, Matt. Betwixt the above fact, a deranged mother killing her perfect child 😢, & the Knowledge Whale, this is officially my fave installment. 🥰
I can't be the only one who makes the knowledge whale sound along with him, right? Edit: Fact 42, I'm one of those people who can do that!! I thought that was something everyone could do,, woah!!

Oh I have that muscle in my ear. Not only does it make a noise, it also helps to equalize pressure from hights or under water.
I also have this muscle and I’m able to make the sound but only when I close my eyes, super weird
Wait is that what means I'm capable of being a diver?
@@dawnclark9921 No it just mean you can do that without having to perfom the Valsalva maneuver.
Oh wow, I thought everyone could do the tensor tympani roar.
I got that muscle but never Knew the name

This video is amazing, I’m sharing it with my friends right now!
Wolverine also used to pull claws out on back of hand till the bone claws was introduced. around the time he became more wild like they started to come out between fingers, which makes a lot of sense, also they made the claws more boney which does not make sense with the whole flat blades.

I can contract my tensor tympani muscle, I think early in my childhood I discovered this while yawning or shortly after and although I am a MD I never thought of researching it. I assumed everyone could do it if focused enough and never bothered to discuss the subject, since it was never on my mind.
i am also one of the people who can do this, thought it was just me too
Can’t wait for your Halloween video’s.
1:46 DUDE. I asked my mom about doing this and she looked at me like I was crazy! So cool to see other people can do this :D

The mom who created the perfect daughter unalived her when the daughter wanted to move away from home.
Uggghhhh. I hate when your videos end.
You forgot to mention the "Differing political commitments". (from Wikipedia)
Are you serious?! That's awful!😭😭😭😭😭

Whoop whoop it’s time for the facts and by the way Matt you are looking ripped !!!!!
I'm so glad you're still around :) You're one of the first youtubers I've watched regularly.

I saw the Lt. Dan Band in Afghanistan. It was pretty awesome to see that with everything that was going on
Have you heard anything back from your side yet you were going to be here for the weekend.

I can do that ear rumbling thing #42. I didn’t realize everyone can’t do it. It doesn’t really serve a purpose and the muscles tire quick.
I can move that ear muscle sounds like a waterfall
Mine sounds like a rocket launching with some backfires in between lol
#42
I thought I was the only one!
YAY Knowledge Whale!!!!
Knowledge Whale!
So that's why I can make a grumbling sound in my ear! Wow!😳
Ok Matt, you've actually surprised me. I had no idea being able to make the roaring in my ears wasn't something everyone could do.
I used to use it to drown out lectures.
Ever try tabasco on mac and cheese?
I remember this guy! Long time no see!
Kraft dinner needs two things, ketchup and Franks hot sauce… after that it’s pure perfection
Heinz ketchhup and kraft mac and cheese is a household staple in canada. Not even joking. I have both of those right now and almost had that for dinner..

You are not weird Matt I like ketchup on Mac and cheese too, and it's awesome 👍

Pretty cool.
I want 200 facts for number 200! 😂 Kidding not kidding
Dude, everyone can't do that????? It's almost like flexing your jaw and also trying to push your ears backward at the same time. It makes that sound.
Thx for the description. Once again, I'm still a Muggle. 😢😅
@jojasunshyne949 I don't get it? I'm kinda slow. Please explain it to me with small words.
