Because it's not relevant? The proportion of millionaires, professors, doctors, scientists, mayors, mp's and judges that are not white is lower than their proportion in wider society. Just because a few black people made it doesn't mean racism is over. The people in power are still largely white men.

I just read Girl, Woman, Other. I really enjoyed reading it. Girl, Woman, Other was more of a voyage of discovery for me than a story about knights, aliens or cyborgs. I lived in London for years these women’s lives are quite unknown to me, and all the more intriguing for that reason.
