    I've loved Stone brewing for 12 years and am currently stuck in Oklahoma where it's not available. I drive to Missouri once a month to grab 2 or 3 cases of Stone. Greatest experience with beer I've ever had in the industry. Many customers at my store wish they could buy them here.

    I love this company, and Mitch is my hero. He may have come from Budweiser but he knows beer.

    Great segment. Why in the hell hadn't I heard of you guys a long time ago is beyond me. I'm up here in the Pacific Northwest and we have a lot of breweries popping up, but of course we lost our two biggest in Rainier Brewing and Olympia Beer.

    Good luck to Stone in Berlin. I have had a tough time getting Germans to warm up to the American Style of Craft Beer. Most recently, I had a man at local brew pub try a APA made in Germany and called it a 'Woman's Beer'...

      They will probably brew their styles. I'd hire a local brew master to teach me about and to brew the local favorite

      depends on what it is. Fruity Pale Ales are nothing a "normal" would like.
      A solid Porter or Stout is a different game

    I just tasted the stone IPA oh the best beer I have had. Easily my new favorite. Only problem is that they don't sell it everywhere. An if they do it's just the 24 oz bottles not 12 packs.

    Why not open a brewery in UK..

    • @curt3494
      @curt3494 9 років тому

      Probably makes more economic sense to open it on mainland Europe than the UK.

    if you agree with freeze dried, prepackaged products which are based on marketing over anything else then stick with the fizzy yellow stuff.
    capitalism works because buyers are well informed and are capable of choosing the best products. when monolithic corporations with incredible resources decide to create the cheapest product possible and spend a little extra on marketing capitalism goes out the window. it's not about the best product anymore.
    support capitalism. support quality products.

    "Europe is much more entrenched in its beer culture"
    *opens brewery in Berlin and invties media to take photos of Greg smashing all the beloved local beers so he can tell them that the Americans have finally arrived to show the Germans how to do beer*
    Pity they didn't put the expert in charge of this. Always sad I missed Stone Berlin but the fact that it easily converted to BrewDog shows that Stone's approach was the problem, not the provision itself. Sad to see that there were staff in Stone who actually understood how bad their PR approach was.
    They might have got away with that shit in many countries but why on earth were they trying that shit in Belgium and Germany where these countries were open to craft but also didn't see traditional as the enemy, stupid strategy imo.
