I got the 16 Pro Max on its release day, and I’ve been having a blast with it. No complaints at all! Now, about the camera control, it’s all about personal preference. I personally love it, and it feels like second nature to me since I’ve been a photographer for 11 years. I really enjoyed the video and I hope you have a great day as well!

Coming from 13 Pro Max, Dynamic Island is my favorite feature 😳. The lighter weight is nice but I do miss the premium steel feel. AI is fine but the slow rollout of features is a bummer.
@@eaglebay451 Dynamic Island is such an underrated feature! It is baked into so much of the user experience, and it’s really well executed.
What do you mean under premium steel feel? I would like to have a full steel iPhone finally like the HTC One M7 was back in the day and not these glass covered phones.
Getting mine in a few weeks can't wait.

@ files app goes black, camera crashes, phone crashes, messages doesn’t let me click the plus sign on the left, AirPod static. It’s been really buggy but it doesn’t bother me too much. I bought the phone twice so I knew what I was getting myself into haha
@@JSLReview iOS 18.1.1 Photos app freezing, when on a call and you are multitasking the phone quality is terrible its sounds like you are talking to a robot, battery drain, apps keep crashing, heats randomly, SIRI is confused with what you ask it to do and delayed notifications
@ haha that’s not a “little buggy” to me - I’m not getting some of the things you described but others yes. Siri getting confused is unfortunately the norm haha
@@JSLReview let’s hope iOS 18.2 fixes these issues apple is so focused on releasing AI but I guess they are not paying attention to the software performance/bugs

I think Apple has chosen a design and decided to stick with it. And considering Samsung and Google have copied that design, makes me think that they've got something. There's only so much you can do with a rectangle and some circles. Regardless, for someone to say that there has been little change from previous years, seems like they're just focusing on the aesthetics.
Love my 16 pro as I upgraded from a 10R. However I have one small tiny pixel on the display that is really annoying at nighttime with no way to fix it.
@@JBad06 good job on using the XR as long as you did! Go to the Apple Store and see if they could fix it, if not the phone should be under warranty

Everybody bitching about the ad needs to realize that you can skip forward 10 seconds at a time, and it’s really not a big deal. I personally didn’t care and let the game whole video play, but when I’m in a rush I just skip through promotions. 🤷🏽♀️

It’s just that 90% of people don’t make the most out of the pro models, heck even I don’t.
So there’s no reason for me to get anything but the base model in the future

Question... You said.. This phone is pretty fragile. Why did you say that? Tom Cook says these phones no longer'need' a case. So why are you making it a called it point?
@@philsaitta8820 a phone without a case is still extremely fragile, they’re made out of glass on both the front and back

@@amdusa77 yeah it’s quite a jump from the 11 - however if nothing is wrong with your phone and you can hold our, I’d wait for a deal or until the 17

Apple has become the dummies phone . Bad keyboard , Horrendous Map. Everything takes longer to be found .iMessage and the apple watch keeps the phone alive in my opinion.

I still have an iphone 14 base model but 10 days ago i bought google pixel pro xl 9. The swipe left on the right edge of the screen makes this large phone a single handed use phone. Pixel studio has some useful feature creating images and personalized wallpapers. Reimagine is a nice funny feature. The phone has a 30x zoom camera. Oh i forgot, I bought it for 850 euros while iphone 16 pro max starts at 1270 euros while still missing Ai features. I do not like how apple treat customers. Unless they change that i doubt I will ever buy an apple product again.
Hello Jason … I’m from India 🇮🇳 and here IPhone 16 Pro and Galaxy S24 Ultra are having almost same price .
So my question is which one would be ideal as per the specs in the long run … both are going to get 6/7 years of OS updates. Need your opinion 🙏
That’s a great question, I'd say it really comes down to personal preference and how you use your phone! Both are great but pretty different so hard to recommend one over the other.
Spec wise, both will be more than capable in the next 3 years. Just got the Iphone 16 pro after using android for around 7 years (note 8 and note 20 ultra both Exynos). Good feature set on the android - much better than ios imo. Good hardware too, until it wasn't. Took good care of them but both screens developed major issues. Note 8 colors went dull and the screen suddenly became grainy. Note 20 ultra, a green vertical line suddenly appeared on the screen. Both problems require screen replacement. The iphone 4 and 6 I own still work up to now. No functional issues, apart from them being a bit slow as expected. Hence my switch to the iphone. I do miss android features such as the screenshot swipe, back button / gesture, google assistant and a bit more since my switch. For what it's worth my wife's note 20 ultra and s24u have none of the issues I experienced
