The only reason anyone would put Ruumet in there against that skill level is to see her get her face messed up. That's pretty low.
Meksen is nice, she feels sorry for Ruumet, who didn't have the level.
you could see it on Meksens face when the bell rang and approached Ruumet. Complete mismatch.

Pure learning lesson for Ruumet...she very much needed this to become a better fighter! She did amazing pushing thru the tough times & showed her mental fortitude💪😎👍
Meksen is arguably the best female striker on the planet and One is barely promoting her, what's going on? Total missmatch for Ruumet and Anissa showed merci at the end.

Agree with you, Meksen is probably the best female striker in the world, she deserves better opponents. It is a pity that the control of corporations like One and Glory interferes with real competitions based on skills... it is way too much about money and not enough about sport.
Ruumet may have not been at Meksen’s level but she kept pushing through the rounds. Gotta give Ruumet credit for that. She’s tough and I’m not sure I would’ve been able to push through like she did and especially with someone like Meksen. Sure, Ruumet may be young and pretty, and that may have helped attract attention but she showed a lot of strength by pushing through even through her tears. Meksen showed mercy, but by no means did she show a lack of skills. Ruumet will take this as a learning experience. I’d say we should give respect to both fighters.

Van Soest is the only one I've ever seen give Meksen a serious challenge--she just walks through these others, although most of them bring more to the table than Ruumet. Meksen is a real pro, so she whupped up on this gal, but looking at her Instagram post after this fight, she was a little emotional, not having enjoyed having to lower the boom on somebody who really just wasn't prepared. Loves me some Anissa Meksen!!!
Meksen put in that work. She clearly showed her vast, vast superiority over the literal debut rookie. Would like to see more of Meksen, if she hasn't retired yet.

In two years since loss to mekksin I haven't seen much improvement. Had high hopes for Ruumet but I think she has reached her max potential. I don't want to see her getting physically beat anymore....worried for her.

if it hasnt happened it just means Janet or Stamp refuse to fight Anissa. Behind the Scenes a lot of it has to do with fighters trying to preserve their reputation and image. No one wants to fight Meksen. She should just get given a belt and defend it once in a while, maybe ''buck break'' a few new young bucks every season, that's it. pass down the knowledge, experience. In a way I agree with her fighting debutantes. At least she gets to teach, if nobody in her range wants to square up...

Props to ruumet, she ate a couple of similar lefts that took out iman barlow, and she survived the onslaughts by meksen, one tough beauty.
This destroyed Ruumet's confidence. I have no idea what the hell ONE was thinking.. Fighters can have entire careers ruined because they were mentally broken in the ring by getting too tough opponents too soon. This was wrong.. And the fact I'm seeing more children fighting in one these days is starting to make me feel uncomfortable..
Nonsense, if a loss from a stronger opponent sinks your confidence you have no business in a ring. Ruumet is all about fighting she won't quit just because she got beat up once or twice - she'll learn from it. If you're worrying about her almost crying at the end, she actually does that a lot when she loses - it ain't about this fight in particular. But many fighters do that when they release the tension after a match. Freaking Rodtang cries too ^^
This guy is just a troll ... spreading negative comments everywhere on different videos.
One's matchmakers messed up. Look at both records, and you get to the conclusion this fight should not have happen by that moment. One could say about Smilla vs Buntan, but the difference in their records is something Smilla could handle, and in fact, she did.

I like Ruumet but she’s not ready this, Anissa is too fast, strong and experienced for Ruumet. That said, Ruumet is tough, always has been. Give some good training by good trainers and she might make it to the top 10.

Ruumet has heart and a good defense. But, she has no power in her kick and punch. She is very predictable when trying to attack. It shows the opponent when to kick or punch. This is the only fight I've watched of her so my opinion is just considering this fight. I hope she fixes these mistakes. She seems like a good girl. while Meksen, she did the basics with no effort, great fighter
