I bought an OBD reader for my car and it told me so much information that I hadn't a feckin' clue what was going on. Well done on the fault finding, especially with the background health issues. You'll soon be out and about. Let us know when the Scotland trip is planned and we'll suggest a few sites to visit.
I absolutely love your videos! They are required viewing for me so keep it up and your fan base will grow and start earning you money. What’s your address? I’ve something to send. 👍👍
@@nigelcheal8499 wow nigel, I'm so glad you like my videos. Please txt me on 07532170818 stating who you are and i can then send my address. Thank you sir very much. Best regards to you and your family. Ade.
Hi Ade. Bit of a head-scratcher, eh? I've done a bit of investigation. It looks to me as if your model of Connect has no MAF sensor. Instead it has a MAP sensor and IAT sensor (intake air temp). Believe the latter is the the little grey twist-in jobby you replaced. Dunno where the MAP sensor is mind, but it is a pressure transducer.
@@NotNowCato1254 fantastic bud thanks, yes after a few wrong parts i realised it was going to be a match the part to the picture. All the ebay listings are wrong for my van. At least it's sorted now hopefully.
Was your van owned by a Pompey fan ? Could explain it not liking Southampton, remember being in the dog at Pompey when they was both playing, quite lively, and I don’t do football 😁
Well if they hadn’t sold you a new crap part. You wouldn’t have been chasing your ass LOL. I feel your pain brother
@@cainbeeping8480 cheers brother, yes i would have nailed it weeks ago

@@rwms71 cheers again Richard it's used daily

@eadsierestorations Yes, hopefully mate. Looking promising. I wonder if that cold start stumble will have buggered off too?
The worst nightmare: faulty New parts!
I had a similar issue with getting parts on my 1.8 tdci, it was a 54 plate, there was a crossover of parts from the older a newer engine
@@rwms71 it's so confusing isn't it. Luckily i made a point of matching picture for item
I need a fanny magnet

@@Brian0059 lol excellent, it's a possibility
The airflow mass sensor might have been blocked off intentionally, I did it on my focus 1.8 tdci.
Or am I thinking of the EGR on the turbo…
