I can't believe people are blaming the Red rocks. Did they just wake up and realize they were in Colorado? People actually complaining that they were allowed to go back to their seats after a delay from lightning. As if they couldn't look up and see the problem, or look at their phone and check the weather, instead just blame the venue. Just imagine how many people would be complaining if they'd told them to go home and nothing happened. You really can't win today, people are so stupid.
you were not there so wouldn’t know. I was there - checking weather every few minutes. It was clear skies ahead according to my app, according to app from security and other concert goers. the storm came out of nowhere . it was incredibly violent and limited space for shelter. there was flooding , power outage, and people bleeding. If you can’t be supportive, then don’t comment at all
It said there was a delay for lightning and they let people go back in I'm commenting on them complaining about it. So to say nobody knew would be false. The last time I was at the Red rocks we left early because a storm was coming. I can tell you hail storms have caused a lot bigger problems in my life than ruining a concert.
This must’ve been one of the jackasses refusing to let injured people inside during severe weather. I heard the staff was giggling and enjoying watching everyone get wrecked. The internet is coming for them.
Do you have any idea how small indoor areas are at the Amphitheater? Trying to protect everyone would have caused much worse problems. Amazingly, only seven people had broken bones (it could have easily been dozens), no deaths and no crowd crushes. For Red Rocks, that’s actually impressive
@@maradupras7278 exactly. we do not normally check the weather cause we're one of the states that experiences all 4 states in one day. we do not normally expect this either.
Apparently some people don’t... those that have lived here for a very long time, do. Perhaps it’s a city thing... people that live in the mountains check the weather throughout the day.
if you’re not going to be supportive of people who went through this then don’t comment at all. good for you for being able to predict the weather - you do realize that is impossible, right ? weather can change in a sec - especially at RR- especially this time of year . It was showing clear skies ahead minutes before the hail and flooding started .
Amazing that no one, either involved with or just a concert guest, knew or got an advanced weather alert about approaching bad weather. How can that happen in 2023 ??????
colorado is one of the states that experiences all 4 seasons in one day. nobody checks the weather app here. we only respond to weather alerts and warnings- and, plus, it was a concert, they all had their phones off or on silent.
The bands and venues have schedules. They can't just play another day. As long as the lightning alert system isn't reading anything within the prescribed immediate area the show goes on. If I paid money I am going to be there lol. With a nice poncho and maybe a tarp. I was at Northerly Island in Chicago one time during a big storm and there was 6 inches of water up pooled up near the stage while the band was playing.
oh- were you there? bc I was. was your head bleeding non stop? we’re you trapped in freezing flooding water? did you have any broken bones? but by all mean - let’s just set you a top a mountain in a hail/lightening storm with flooding and limited shelter and see how you do :-).
You clearly have no clue how videos work. The only way you'd see what you mentioned is if someone had a steadied camera focused at someones head and the video in slow motion. And if you weren't there, you have no idea either.
really? bc mankind had figured out how to flawlessly predict weather ? and at RR? clearly you don’t understand colorado climate or that even the best weather systems are not accurate .

Come to Colorado, laddy. She’ll show you how wild she can be
Well that's the cleanest amphitheater in the nation now, ice blasted and really well rinsed.
Best Halestrøm concert ever!
I miss the hail in my face, I love the way that it hurts.
Do we really need a sound track?
It was a Louis Tomlinson concert btw
Who?
"Ice, Ice, Baby"!
NOOOO 😭💀💀
Vanilla Ice featuring Halestorm

Great choice of music to go along with this video
Ice Water: Free
Concert cancelled: Priceless.
What. The. HAIL!?
Great job filming the whole thing vertically 👍
😭👶🏻
Yeah, bc the most important thing when you're stuck in a situation like this is making sure you're filming the right way for the internet lmao
Omg that's crazy!!
My aunt lives right off the red rocks property and was injured yesterday
Happy First Day of Summer
🤷
Damn it Phish played It's Ice again didn't they 😂😂😂
Мы покрыты бронзовым загаром,
Ягоды в лесу горят пожаром.
Лето это жаркое недаром,
Лето - это хорошо!
ROCK ON!
I am traumatized from 2016
💕😊
Any word on the performers?😊
Looks like a run-of-the-mill hailstorm to me.
i was there - it definitely was not
Lol then you are clueless
Did they not check the weather report before going to the concert?
you clearly do not live in colorado
See I was going to ask that question - because it's a great question. It was on the news. LOL

@@delaneyswell Colorado is in the mountains though--
Ive been to 300 outdoor shows. I check weather reports before. Maybe pull up radar periodically. Bunch of amateurs

the music is awful 😬.

The alerts went out for hours and the skies were foreboding. It’s about denial and risk.

That happened to us in Ohio. We got hit by a tornado, then like 20 minutes later got the warning. 🙄 We had no idea it was coming.
@@cyndianderson7056 down in Ohio swag like Ohio
I guess that's what you get for going to a Louis Tomlinson concert. And not checking the weather.
Impeach Biden then this? Hmmm
Maybe there's something to this climate change after all.
Maybe its just hail and not a “sign” of something
Crybaby people yes a big rainstorm but there's not 1 shot of big hail hitting anything & everyone there has a camera
Are emergency services and the hospitals lying?
