Fair Haven is easily the best film of the lot from that year. A very close second is Hidden Kisses. I've watched both several times, and continue to recommend them as positive depictions of gay relationships that don't end in death and trauma. I don'[t recommend Moonlight, that's the definition of gay trauma to me even though it is a beautifully shot film.

@@TheRainbowsMood Yes, I've watched Moonlight about 3 times and, as I said, it's a beautifully shot film, the other two films (Fair Haven and Hidden Kisses) are for more gay affirming than Moonlight
I agree with those choices. Fair Haven and Hidden Kisses are good movies.
How is "Center of my world" (or "this is my life") ? Is that a good movie? Is it more about life stories or does it focus on their relationship?

A good year. The first ten minutes of Hugo and Theo are HARD porn! Fairhaven was excellent. King Cobra was gripping and historically correct. Enjoyed Lazy Eye but then I like older hairy men!
