Thank you, dear Pierre Fournier, for your divine playing Bach like no other in this world and for recording it for eternity as long as mankind will still exist. Tomorrow, June 24th, is your birthday. What a coincidence that I found you right now in my search for at least a bearable playing of this divine music. And thank you, Ms. HarpsichordVal, for uploading Pierre Fournier's unique playing of this piece of Bach music.
Jovialidad ideal de una sonora trascendencia. Que penetra en el espíritu del atento oyente para desenganchar su apariencia estética en inmaculada inocencia.
This is brazen: There are no such sonatas. They are Viola da Gamba sonatas. At least they could have had the decency to use Bachs original title and add something like: romantic arrangement for cello and barrelhouse clavecin. Bach used the cello when he wanted to, but these are Viol pieces. Not only was Founier a collaborateur of the Nazis (or maybe himself one) but also a collaborateur in the adulteration of antique music.
Delightful and resonant. Thank you for posting
absolument prodigieux et magnifique merci du post

I bet the one dude who disliked this is like a viola player or something.
Wonderful upload, thank you so for this …

Que pecado idiota interromper Bach com esses anúncios...
