I’m currently in a Reddit aurguement.
That ship is inspired by the USS Cyclops which went missing in the Bermuda Triangle in 1918
*USS Cyclops.
She was owned by the United States Navy and was used as a Collier; one of three sister ships of the Proteus-Class.
USS _Jupiter_ would be converted into USS _Langley,_ the first carrier of the United States Navy.
She disappeared in 1918, You're a little bit off.
Sorry that I’m wrong about that because I’m a bit rusty on the Cyclops’ history

The USS Cyclops she was a coal refueling frieghter during the 1st world war that disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle, the 2nd of 4 sister ships that had all but 1 met bizzar fates
you should do something where someone tries to destroy the ship while the others have to keep it intact till they reach a destination

its a collier designed to transport coal for ships, probably inspired by the proteus class of collier ships of the USN 3out of 4 were lost in the Bermuda Triangle

I’m pretty sure this is a collier. They are ships designed to carry coal, and I’m pretty sure this creation is based off the Proteus class colliers built for the US Navy around 1912-1915. They were the USS Jupiter, USS Cyclops, USS Proteus, and USS Nereus. Which kind of explains the name of this ship. The class is very famous as the Jupiter went on to become the US’s first aircraft carrier and the Cyclops disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle.
I think this ship is based on USS Cyclops (AC-04) a Proteus-class collier, it could carry both fuel oil, and Coal. Though at the time it was carrying manganese ore, it was built in 1910 I think, but Commissioned 1917 lost in 1918 with all hands on borad in the Bermuda-Triangle.
