one of the best tips for new players was to just take it easy, don't worry about rushing. The game definitely gives you a LOT to do and makes you feel rushed, but you don't need to be!
I will say as some beginner advice, when you first unlock the church basement and get a few of the blue exp points you can use, one thing I would advise to unlock is stone monuments/stone graveyard fences. Particularly the stone graveyard fences. Those are (to my knowledge) one of the earliest things you can craft that will get you blue exp points which you can then use to unlock other stuff.
Thank you for reminding us that players don’t need to be perfect to enjoy the game, yet also focus on really used up tips I am definitely going to use in my playthrough!! :)
You are welcome! This game is soooo good ;D I'm STILL playing and loving it, even though I'm not doing everything optimally or with max efficiency haha. No need to stress in gaming IMO, just sit back and enjoy the awesome ride :) Best of luck on your playthrough!
Thank you ! Spot on with your suggestions. The big one when I was starting out was rushing to do shtuff, after a bit you realize that you have ALL the time in the world, no need to rush anything. Once I relaxed everything fell into place. I love this sort of game
Great! I am so glad this is helpful :) I 100% agree--I was very tense at first then just stopped caring about the time, because it doesn't matter! You won't miss anything and can be chill and have a blast. Amazing game! I've got over 100 hours on this title I think!?
Yeah this is super important. I myself felt so burned out because im trying to manage farming, crafting, mining, the graveyard and quests all at once and theres just never enough time to complete one thing before the next needs attention plus i dont have the DLCs so no zombie automation for me. I JUST convinced myself to limit my load to improving my farming situation and passive blue point farmkng with flasks
At first I was like "oh he talks so slow" but further in the video Im more like "wow, he explains things really well!" This is the first video of your channel I watched and I liked! Subscribed.
Thanks so much for the sub! Haha, yeah... I talk slowly but I'm so glad you got some value out of these tips! I have a Let's Play on that game that is wrapping up with all of the game content covered and nearly all the Steam achievements if you want to watch more GYK ^_^ Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about the game--it's so fun!
Oh, fantastic! I'm so glad it was helpful. Yeah, it's a brilliant game but I felt so rushed and lost at first... Taking a breath helped me enjoy the ride more and know that I will miss nothing by doing things at my own pace ;D Happy playing!
Awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and learned some things ;) If you ever have any specific questions about the game, the let's play I'm doing covers much of the game so far--also, don't hesitate to me or others on the channel about it. There has been super helpful feedback from other players about things that I got stuck on ;) I hope you enjoy the game!
One tip I'd give is after the slime/jelly killing quest there are a few barrels around town that can be smashed open for useful stuff, then you can sell your rusty sword and buy the telport stone on day one. You don't really need to worry about having a sword combat is such a minor part of the game and more often than not you can just run away from enemies until you get the ability to make a sword, and having the teleport stone right away is such a quality of life item that you'll want it straight away. and definitely more beneficial than the rusty sword early game.
Oh wow! Thank you so much Doc for the awesome tips & advices. I just started my journey into this game yesterday so I am a newbie. I really appreciate your tips & advices. For that, I am subscribing & looking forward to your let’s plays. I have a lot to learn w/ this game. It reminds me of Stardew valley but a dark version of it
You're very welcome! I'm so glad the tips were helpful :) This is such a great game and it's best enjoyed at your own pace, imo. Thanks for subscribing! I hope you find some more videos to enjoy--I'm always adding more ;D
I'm so glad you like it! Thanks for your kind words :) Yeah, this game is amazing and it can feel like it's rushing you, but you can just sit back and take your time and you are never penalized. Actually, the more time you put in, the more you get out as you can gather more resources and build an amazing farm :D Happy playing!
Thanks, Rick! I was hoping to create something that would be useful for new players so they could get into the game :) Yikes! I forgot all about that chicken lady... I need eggs for my baking ;) Thanks for reminding me about this! Gonna get this going ASAP.
Hmm... Did you do all the quest requirements first? Do you have a clear plot of land? Do you have all of the materials? Did you research the technology? These are the questions that come to mind but I'm not sure what the problem is! ;)
I have a Complete Beginner's Guide that sounds more helpful for what you are looking for--it walks through a ton of the game, including getting tools! Here is the link: ua-cam.com/play/PLLZqXZAwfuGfiVxupVnDDgFEPRM3q_Fut.html
@@DrIncompetent well, what I mean is maybe take less time making examples of how to destroy everything (for example) put it in 30 secs and cover deeper into this mechanic or idea. Anyway, cheerz and good luck

This doesn’t help me. How do I get the tools like a pick and axe.

Waaaay too basic, there are things for beginners but this one is for little children I guess... I was expecting more depth
Thanks for watching! Well, at least I can help children in need ^_^

Oh, I see--fair point! I hope you enjoy the game--it's a really fun one ;)
This could have been a 4 minute video. Anyone watched should watch at 4x speed and skip every time this dude start rambling and stuttering.
Thanks for the feedback! Have a great day :)
