The image of Smith stinking up a plane while Ross awkwardly stares at his neighboring passenger and Trott talks to a strange man about Vancouver for the whole flight is a great one.
Yeah me too, I think it was more the reactions from Ross and Trott, especially Ross trying to carry on with it until he just has to give in and complain about the smell.
"Twinks are hard to find around here" hmmm... must be a different Vancouver they're visiting. A couple places that might be worth going to: -Pizzeria Ludica on Keefer Place. Great Pizza and a wall full of board games. -EXP Bar on Pender. Video game themed bar and restaurant, mostly for the atmosphere. -Granville Island in general is worth visiting. Has a brewery, market, and some interesting places to eat. You can get there by water taxi from down town if you felt like walking. -Storm Brewing if you're feeling particularly adventurous. Has some great (and very weird) beers, last time I went there were chicken wing and pineapple flavored beers. Standing room only and the door is just your standard sliding slab of steel. -Vancouver Aquarium... I mean.... it's an aquarium. But it is in Stanley Park which is a nice place to walk around as well. -Grouse Mountain in north Vancouver. You can grab the gondola up to the top of the mountain where there's a pub that overlooks the city and the bay. -LIK on Robson. They make liquid nitrogen ice cream to order, some recipes include a syringe of chocolate ganache for injecting directly in to the ice cream. Then you'll also be across the street from the Vancouver public library which is pretty fun to explore (and has a pretty decent pub on the far side from LIK) Hopefully that helps.
I would add if you guys are driving (though I'm sure there are tour buses), the new Sea to Sky gondola and bridge...brought some visitors from out of town up there (and all the other touristy ones), they said it was the best attraction we brought them to. And while you're in Vancouver, it would be a shame to miss Whistler, especially at the tail end of winter/early spring.
Vancouver is great! Alberta guy myself though. You might want to check out Granville island (great beer and food, love the winter ale there!). Stanley park is beautiful too. Lots of great bubble tea places in vancouver, I would suggest that if you like bubble tea. UBC has a very beautiful campus is you like checking out universities.
Some recommendations: If you guys like coffee make sure to try some of Vancouvers specialty coffee shops! Check out Revolver, Matchstick, or 49th Parallel (great doughnuts). If you're thinking of Vancouver Island I would suggest Salt Spring Island. Its a shorter ferry and theres a lot of nice hiking trails (up Mt. Maxwell) and a nice restaurant called Treehouse Cafe? The Vancouver Aquarium is pretty good too! I'd also recommend renting a bike around the seawall, its easy and beautiful. If you're into museums, check out the Museum of Anthropology at UBC. Its pretty different from most museums you'll find in Europe as its pretty focused on Native American history. Another long standing Vacouverite tradition is the Grouse Grind but that's a serious work out. Capilano suspension bridge is pretty cool too, I'd definitely suggest that. Oh and make sure to go to granville island! Sandbar is a pretty good restaurant if you want some west coast salmon! Have fun if you're still there!
I'm so happy you guys are in Canada! I live in North Vancouver! You should go to Deep Cove, and if you're up for it hike Corey Rock! It has a breathtaking view and you can get amazing donuts afterwards (best donuts) at Honey's Donuts. Grouse Mountain is also worth a visit, the grizzly bears should be out and the bird of prey show is pretty cool! Theres also Lonsdale Quay, great for lunch and also amazing views. You've already done the seawall which is great as well. A lot of good views in these parts, lads! Have a fun trip and pop by to North Van if you can!
Definitely explore the "west end" of downtown and stanly park and the sea wall. Granville island is a great place for food, art and culture. You can get a great view of the city on Grouse Mountain.
Definitely visit a Bison ranch, went out to Canada a few years ago and one of my hosts out there drove us out to one just greeted the owner was generally polite and he was more than happy to give us a tour. Just pretty cool getting up close to them
I live in Vancouver, it's great to see you guys coming over to visit! Some good destinations are: Metrotown Mall, The largest mall we got in b.c. Stanley Park, The seawall walk is amazing. Grouse mountain, If you fancy some skiing or snowboarding. Top of Vancouver Restaurant, a little expensive but worth the view. Burnaby Mountain, Seeing all of Burnaby and Vancouver from the mountain is breathtaking if you go on a sunny day There's a lot more to do here in Vancouver as well, even the skytrain is great for viewing all that the Vancouver Area has to offer. Enjoy your stay in B.C and maybe I'll see you around the area!
I went to Vancouver two years ago and I highly recommend doing a cycle lap around Stanley park! it would make for a funny video if/when one of you inevitably falls.
It may be a little far but you should take a trip out to the Rockies etc... Incredible landscape, I remember them from going as a kid! Have a nice trip tho lads!
If only you came down from the Yukon to visit the Nass and Rosswood in Northern BC! There's a lot of cool stuff around there and in the Nisga'a Nation. Also a late welcome to Canada!
Hope you guys are enjoying Vancouver. It's my favourite place to visit! Some tourist destination ideas for you: Stanley Park Vancouver Aquarium Dr Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden Capilano Suspension Bridge Take in a Cunucks hockey game at Rogers Arena
OMG! I never thought that you lads would get to my end of the world. Been following you all forever, and if you make it to Vancouver Island, specifically Victoria, that would be freaking awesome. (It's my birthday on the weekend btw)
A recommendation for your tourist adventures, check out the Granville Island Public Market and Stanley Park they were probably my favorite places when I visited a couple years ago.
You guys should definitely come to Vancouver Island! if you enjoy surfing, Tofino is a must-visit. Lots of great outdoors stuff, even at this time of year. Victoria is pretty British, so you won't need to worry about racism against Brits. Also, I'm here.
Why are you asking me? It's their choice. I mean, look at Mr Sark for example; puts his videos out in a random order but their high-quality makes up for lateness. The lads are similar. Let 'em be. They're not obligated to give you what you want when you want it. This isn't McDonald's where your average lower middle-class citizen thinks they're above the employees. TL;DR Fack off, m9.
Hope you all have a great time in Canada! You've been my favourite UA-camrs for a long time and this little soul fully supports your aim to do what you love and love what you do :)
Welcome to Canada boys! Who knows, maybe you'll somehow run into one of my aunts while you're out there XD I myself am unfortunately on the opposite end of Canada, but I am wishing you all the best out in the west!
You should take a seaplane over to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. It's just starting to be nice weather here. It'd be cool to show you guys downtown. It's one of the few interesting things here.
also Whistler is only a stone's throw away and is well worth seeing. if u plan on going up that way make sure to stop off and do the chief while u are passing by
Yeah, but it's cold up there still. Sounds like you guys will get to do some vlog stuff, but hopefully you get to do some vlog stuff. I've heard Vancouver is nice.
You guys NEED to come and visit Port Alberni on Vancouver Island! ive recently moved there and would love to see you guys! As long as smith doesn't stink out the whole town LOL
A bit of advice; it's Canada's 150th anniversary this year and as such Parks Canada are giving out free entry to their National parks. I think it's called the discovery pass. Worth a look to save some cash. Don't really know a lot of info on it.
Hahaha, what a great start to your trip, that fart sounded awful XD I hope you all have a great time, sounds like a lot of fun! And I genuinely still enjoy the GTA and golfing vids, so absolutely no worries there, haha
While you're in the Yukon try to go Canoeing/Kayaking. There's also a bunch of amazing hikes. It's some work but you get amazing views. Also DO THE HELICOPTER RIDE around Vancouver if you can. It's a beautiful area.
The image of Smith stinking up a plane while Ross awkwardly stares at his neighboring passenger and Trott talks to a strange man about Vancouver for the whole flight is a great one.
Elio Encarnacion hahahahah this comment had me crying with laughter😂😂😂 thankyou
Paints a vivid and probably quite accurate picture.
Elio Encarnacion Wow 😂😂
Oh my god, Smiffy farting at 10:09 I'm laughing SO HARD right now!
Yeah me too, I think it was more the reactions from Ross and Trott, especially Ross trying to carry on with it until he just has to give in and complain about the smell.
I think Smith's reaction to his own fart was the funniest, just not ashamed at all :')
Thank Christ smell-o-vision hasn't been invented.
I almost gagged just imagining it. It sounded like a wet one.
That just brilliant xD Not laughed so hard in a long while!
I know! It was so unexpected!
Have a safe travel and have a fun trip lads :)
WelshGrey a
I love that Trout is just sitting there for the largest part of the vid playing with the large phallic thing between his legs.
Sleep tight guyss!

It's because of all the salt.

"I think Trott's in the bath..." 13:08
"urrrr yeh, um champagne would be great" I don't know why, but that cracked me up. Just so casual about it lol
Definitely explore the "west end" of downtown and stanly park and the sea wall. Granville island is a great place for food, art and culture. You can get a great view of the city on Grouse Mountain.
Wouldn't be a proper Hat Films Vlog without Trott in a tub.
Video Sage

Geez, I see you everywhere, Sage!
Sleep Art Game & Eat.
Definitely visit a Bison ranch, went out to Canada a few years ago and one of my hosts out there drove us out to one just greeted the owner was generally polite and he was more than happy to give us a tour. Just pretty cool getting up close to them
The IRL Hat Films content is some of my favorite. Have fun in Canada boys!
Ive been to Canada and as a Brit, I was bowled over by how clean it was. Have a great time!

Welcome to Canada guys! Unfortunately your not at Toronto but glad you made it!
Be sure to stop by the StormCrow Alehouse/Tavern while you're here. Its a " pretty cool" nerdy/board-gaming pub, that would be right up your alley

Hope you guys have time to check out some of the Parks near Vancouver! Have fun while in Canada guys! Welcome from a Canadian viewer!

You guys should check out Granville Island, it's pretty close to where you are and has a brewery, market, art gallery and some other things.
Welcome to Canada boys, do try to enjoy yourselves. See if you can get a dog sledding experience, it's one of a kind.
You guys should definitely come to Vancouver Island! if you enjoy surfing, Tofino is a must-visit. Lots of great outdoors stuff, even at this time of year. Victoria is pretty British, so you won't need to worry about racism against Brits. Also, I'm here.
Safe travels lads. :')
Dat Boi why could they put this out and they haven't even put up the Thai vlogs
Why are you asking me? It's their choice. I mean, look at Mr Sark for example; puts his videos out in a random order but their high-quality makes up for lateness. The lads are similar. Let 'em be. They're not obligated to give you what you want when you want it. This isn't McDonald's where your average lower middle-class citizen thinks they're above the employees.
TL;DR Fack off, m9.
What happened in Thailand stays in Thailand.
Dat Boi why are u having a conversation with a badger?
Why are you having a conversation with a unicycle riding frog
Vancouver Island is lovely! I highly suggest. Victoria is cool but there are great tidal pools on the west side of the island.
Holy crap that's a beautiful airport! I've only been to three, but that one takes the cake
Trott is way to enthusiastic about that pillow.
You should take a seaplane over to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. It's just starting to be nice weather here. It'd be cool to show you guys downtown. It's one of the few interesting things here.

Honestly, they are all such kids in this video, I love it ^.^
Yeah, but it's cold up there still. Sounds like you guys will get to do some vlog stuff, but hopefully you get to do some vlog stuff. I've heard Vancouver is nice.
Wouldn't be a HatFilms travel vlog without the obligatory Ross Hornby room tour...
"Would you like a glass of champagne...?" had to leave that one in
If you guys ever come to Ontario I'd be super happy
That ending, just fantastic!
You guys NEED to come and visit Port Alberni on Vancouver Island! ive recently moved there and would love to see you guys! As long as smith doesn't stink out the whole town LOL

Have fun in Canada guys!!! :P see ya when u get back
Go up the gondola up the mountains in Whistler I think. it's been awhile since I've been to Vancouver
A bit of advice; it's Canada's 150th anniversary this year and as such Parks Canada are giving out free entry to their National parks. I think it's called the discovery pass. Worth a look to save some cash. Don't really know a lot of info on it.

While you're in the Yukon try to go Canoeing/Kayaking. There's also a bunch of amazing hikes. It's some work but you get amazing views. Also DO THE HELICOPTER RIDE around Vancouver if you can. It's a beautiful area.
Check out Sewell's Marina in Horseshoe Bay... North Van. They have boat rentals. Beautiful place to film, plus boats!!
Golf and GTA5 is still great. Looking forward to the travel-logs!
