Villarreal want to sign Haaland or Mbappe
Not even remotely comparable mate
Ok then. Crawley want to sign Haaland or Mbappe.
Do they?
@@markstothard2100 so I heard bro 😊
England has one of the best teams in the world
The best and most realistic is to nominate the under 21 manager as an interim manager and monitor his performance during the various qualifiers while awaiting an experiencing manager. Then its a question of the best man for the job.
The best comment so far, I agree🙏😇
No that's a terrible idea, it's easy for international managers to perform outside a tournament... waiting around just means we will be f'd in the next world Cup.
Absolutely not you get in the best option
Their aint no way they should do that you get the best manager you possibly can
Lee Carsley is a great shout. He won the Euros with U21's by beating Spain in the final and his win % is top notch.
Klopp wants a break, and Guardiola is a reach. Some people saying Ancelotti, he ain’t leaving Real for england, man was tapped for brazil. I see some people saying Zidane, not a chance, he wants the France Job.
Zidane doesn't even speak English 😂 how can he be their manager
Klopp is very likely. Forget the break when a job like this becomes available. The wife probably wants to hoover without his feet getting in the way. It would be a win-win for all parties l.
International manager is a break. It's more of a part time job
Klopp isn't English a national team means one race not English and German get a grip man or does national team mean heinz 57 varietys 😂😂😂😂@R3DH1PP0
@user-ce7xw3fx6q How old are you 15 or something? 🤔 England has had foreign managers in the past. Klopp will be a great fit.
meanwhile Spain simply just promoting their U21 manager into the Senior Team Manager and he won the Euro with almost the same squad from the WC2022, English football media overthink and overreacted as always.
it's almost as if grass roots/football culture is far more important than the (silver bullet) manager
Dont be ridiculous
We will end up with Gerrard or Lampard
Think I'd rather have you than either of those two.
I'd rather have mark goldbridge than either of them
One of them talks about the “footballing culture” re a foreign vs English coach. Yet the best current English players (which are many in this gen) play for foreign coaches in their leagues and challenge for the top honors, where the coach installs a SYSTEM of attack, possession, and press, with a win at all costs mentality. Besides Eddie Howe what English coach comes even close to that. Get over your high horses media!
.....we should appoint them both and see if they can manage together.

I can see Klopp taking it more than Guardiola as his next job. Managing an international side is way less work than managing a club year in year out. Most of English football fans respect Klopp and he knows the way we play and how we need to play. He would be welcome in my eyes.
Really he spent over 85 million at Liverpool and as soon as there not winning much he's off to let someone else pick up the pieces so how can you say that how good would he be making a team without spending loads of money 😂😂😂😂😂😂 and he's not English you know national team get a grip
Why is nobody talking about Wenger.
Knows England, knows England football, knows the players, brought Saka et al through the system. Calm head!
Never been mentioned. Yes he’s 74, but this is a PT job
Let’s all have a whip round.
Not sure someone who plays 10% of the matches a premier league manager plays in a season would expect the same salary. What a stupid argument.
No, but they certainly wouldn't be incentivised to leave their current job for that reduced salary, regardless of the reduced working hours.
there's also the factor of then taking residence in a glass house, with every single word, action and performance receiving some form of inflated criticism. It's not quite as attractive a job as some fans would have themselves believe.
@@MichaelH3948 I see the FA have realized this and put the job up on its website.

Sam Allardyce have 100 % winning rate for England
🤣 after 1 game. Shouldn’t have offered to get around the rules using his position then.
Klopp or Guardiola?? 😂😂😂😂😂
Be serious!
They have worked in England long enough to know that the job is one to avoid like the plague.
I really do hope so let's get a manager who plays attacking football
Why are you getting peoples hopes up what a stupid video, best we’ll get is potter, before Southgate we had Roy hodgson and Sam Allardyce
If klopp showed the slightest interest we should bend over backwards to try n get him. klopp might fancy it with it being basically part time
Potter is what England need. He deploys stone age footballing tactics that England are familiar with.
The major difference between being a Club manager in a top league and an international coach/manager is that they are not "your players" they are players that are "on loan" to you for brief spells usually at the end of a season when the players are shattered, injured or both. Also, the competitions are different to the continuous intensity of a league season, you have sporadic games throughout the season and have the players for a few days. Followed, by a tournament lasting a month with an intense period of games with the players held up in an overseas resort, often being bored and fractious.
Learning how to handle a Euros or World Cup tournament is a different skill set from normal league management and does come easily to most high-intensity/top-class PL managers.
The FA needs to appoint someone who has experience managing a Tournament, so Lee Carsley & Steve Cooper are the two ideal candidates.
I agree with a lot of comments, it will likely be Potter or Carsley. But why shouldn't it be Pep or Klopp? The FA have made a mint from fans over the years and could easily afford them, it's not unaffordable. If we were talking about finding the next Real Madrid manager, would Lampard's name come up? For those saying 'we've had foreign managers before', yes but not one that's been dominant in not only foreign leagues but the premier league, they understand English football.
What do they mean by we got foreign managers before? 😮😮😮 We have also got English managers before too, so what's their point exactly
@@seyioyetade there is often a comment of ‘we’ve had foreign managers before’ denoting their unsuccessful reign such as Sven and Capello and that it should only be an English position. My point is that whilst they did fail, Pep is not the same calibre and has success plus an understanding of English football.
Potter is a pathetic manager , his chelsea tenure was disastrous….He can manage a top level squad

Is it April 1st
Or as we say in Britain 1st April
Or as the Geordie's say. Why i man it's the 1st of April.
What gets you over the line, Jonathan, is a manager who knows how to set up an attacking side. Having no left winger and a centre forward who is too out of condition to run is like sending out a boxer with one arm tied behind his back. Most people could see the problem. I think Mr Southgate did too but he was too worried to leave names out.
About TIME England is AT LEAST considering a top manager from premier league!!!
Not a chance
We sha’ll see
If Gareth Southgate reached them 2 finals back to back and 1 Semi final then Pep or Klopp will surely bring a trophy or many trophies, if they would be, this is the difficult job to have them as a coach, if FA can do this, surely England will win some trophies.

I can see both Pep and Klopp taking the team to the WC final. England have the players now they just need a good coach. It's like a F1 team having the perfect car but needing the right driver to steer it.😊

Klopp wouldnt let Germany down!!
Why the hell will someone quit a job at Liverpool or Man City for a national team job?
what a challenge for Klopp to make history...this whole country loves him.
But Potter is what ENGLAND need. He plays negative football and is perfect for the role.
I believe that major football countries should have coaches of their own nationality. It's different if we're talking about small countries, but when it comes to a major, important country, I think the coach should be of the country's own nationality. Regards from Spain
Why?
@@stephennewton2777 In the case of England, with one of the most important leagues in the world, if not the best, there must be many more than capable english coaches. Personally, I wouldn't like a foreigner to coach Spain because I believe that there are also very capable coaches in Spain who can do well. It would be strange to see England, Germany, Italy, France, or Spain with a coach who is not from that country.
English coaches are not at all capable to win major titles. No any English manager has won any major trophies in the recent past decades
Eddie Howe earned more than double what Southgate did before he signed his new contract last summer. Now it's probably triple/quadruple. Not to mention the £8m compensation they'd have to pay to get him out of that contract.
Many people fail to realize that England's issues go beyond team formation, player positions, and selecting the best eleven. When a team is tired or disorganized, spatial awareness and alertness suffer. Reflecting on Glenn Hoddle's decision to hire psychiatrists for the England players, it's clear that a true manager must identify the fittest and most skilled players from all English divisions, not just the Premier League. We need a team of players who can go the extra mile and display tenacity and passion, similar to what is seen in the Copa America. The English managers considered as potential successors to Southgate don't seem capable of making significant changes; they appear to be temporary fixes which is good enough for the FA but not for English football.
World class managers belong to club football. Look for managers on the way out, burned out, poor run of luck etc. Morinho for example. Klopp maybe if he is wanting a long-term break, but would be talking 4 years or so.
I'd say Potter, Howe or Lampard, maybe even Gerrard are more likely.
Graeme Potter is who I expect. International coaching isn't as good as coaching a top club unless it's your country or they offer you a bigger check.
I am not insulting anyone is coaching a football club team and coaching a national football team are same because pep guardiola and jurgen kloop are successful coaches at club level they have never coached a national football team.
Yes Jurgan Klopp has spent over 85 million at Liverpool form starting to dip so he is off let someone else pick up the pieces good manager that NOT and Pep over a 100 million they can't do it with out spending loads of money 😂😂😂😂😂 and people want them for England coach 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Why cant England pick on Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, Steven G, or Garry Neville as their next Manager? These are pure English men who understand their football culture and can easily win a trophy for England.
What a suggest
They were totally disastrous in their managerial tenures, No any English manager has won any major trophies in recent past decades
No - there you go.
England's player pool hasn't got enough to attract that level a coach.
saying a foreign manager hasn't succeed in international football is daft, how many foreign managers have managed Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Brazil, Portugal and Argentina.
At least in England you guys have this discussion. Here in Portugal, with a stacked team, no one questions Martinez...there's zero ambition........and quite frankly it comes from the portuguese fans - they have no demands for their NT.
England tried the foreign route with Eriksson and Capello. Neither succeeded, and the latter was derided in England for his management style and tactics etc.
It's just the English sports media indulging in delusions of grandeur.
Capello was brought in because he'd won in Italy and tried the same style with the English players, while having zero experience with the PL...
Was doomed to fail.
Any foreign manager needs PL experience for the England job now
Nationality doesn’t define how successful or otherwise someone will be in a job. I don’t care if the next coach is a Martian, I just want someone who will get the most from our current bumper crop of talent and get them playing entertaining football.

@@randomdaveUK this is 2024:mate. Football has change 3x since then.
Spain only had 7 players from Barcelona and Madrid on their squad this year.
England's problem is it doesn't reward performance. It only rewards obedience to the "English way".
Example - Cole Palmer.
These are the most suitable options for England 🏴 right now!!!
Not only was Gareth only on 5 Million a year, he was the highest paid manager at the euros. People don't realise that is the reason why top level coaches on top form don't manage national teams. There isn't the same money in international football that there is in club football. For that reason Pep or Jurgen as England manager ain't gonna happen.
Realistically, we're getting Potter. The best option would be Howe.
I don't know why they're making a point about money. International managers don't get paid as much as the club managers anyways, and it's not even close. I'm sure the likes of Pep and Klopp are aware of that, and know of the differences.
I thought I read somewhere Joachim low was putting his hand up
Financials is not a good argument - intenational management is not a full on job like club management, therehore these guys who may not be short of a few quid might not be bothered about the extra money over the extra time they have after years of having virtually no spare time.
A really big problem is that the fans as well as the FA are clueless. Many fans want Howe or Potter. Sure they may play more attractive football, but these guys are not winners. We need a serial winner to lead England.
We will no doubt now end up with Potter and in 8 years be in the same fck position and all of our good players will be old by then. I give up.
Why would they massively downgrade to manage those failures?
Totally agree , Klopp or Pep is Sun clickbait tripe at best Big Sam is the Man or Dyche
We'd all like Versace, but let's be honest, the FA are more likely to go with Primark again .. and we know it.
Fantasy dreams. I remember when Jose Mourinho let it be known he was interested. The FA bought and had egg on their face as it was just a ruse to bump up his contract at the next job.
I remember stupiidgate calling up for ( James , trent , Trippier, walker and Lewis) !!! What manager england had !! No courage to pick two Rb!?
As lamentable as so many of England's performances have been, they have still made it to a semi final and a couple of finals in recent years, and that was under Southgate. It almost feels like cheating to go for Klopp or Pep. If England were to win a World Cup under Pep, the Spaniards have almost as many bragging rights as the English. We can surely find an English manager and learn how to play the modern game. It's about flippin' time .
Just nonsense linking to Klopp and Pep. We sure think a lot of ourselves. Klopp literally ruled himself out. Pep is out of reach.
It is going to Potter or Howe.
Tuchel is available, English managers are very pathetic in terms of tactics. English managers hasn’t won any major trophies in the past few decades…..England only produces Talented players , not coaches
I strongly believe that England national team need an English manager. A foreign manager in national team of England will never succeed because he will not get the full support he would have got if he was a English manager.
Four example pep guardiola will select players based on his style of football not based on popular names and history. Same as Klopp so that kind of selection will not sit well with the English people will never support that kind of selection.
Which is why England is perennial loser.
Stop picking "popular players" and pick the best players that fit.
@@nudisco7882 yes I believe Spain have shown that you can point fingers that you will succeed with a big name players, what is most important is to select players who will play for the English badge and die for it. England national team needs a hungry young players with the mixture of experienced willing to play players.
@@worldofsportshd1904 do you think England is willing to put your players in position to succeed?
add love to see this managers manage they own countrys
I believe Frank Lampard or Rooney would be better suited. Quality managers.
Think ange would be a great choice managed Australia at a World Cup and plays really good football but spurs wouldn’t let him go
I will take Klopp, but write Pep a blank cheque at some point.
Klopp shouldn't do it - he'd be torn when England played Germany. Pep, on the other hand, sees himself as Catalonian, so I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem coaching against Spain.
Pep is a bad idea. He is a manager needs time to find right players to fit in his system. That logic doesn’t apply on national teams. How can you find a goalkeeper he needs? There is no Rodri in England, you can only use Rice and Mainoo well.
Klopp would be brilliant, although I don’t think he’d be interested.
Why not both? And the Dalai Lama could offer them spiritual advice in an Eileen Drewery sort of role. It seems very unlikely but I suppose there's no harm in constructing a list of who you would want, in order, and working down. All they can do is say no.
Nothing against you english guys but this is the difference why we in germany have won 4 world cups and you have won 1 world cup. The DFB would pay whatever it takes for the best available national trainer
Southgate was better paid then Nagelsmann. So ein dummer Vergleich…

Yes that’s who we need one of them
Hi hope not any national team should be just that England manager/ coach right down to ball boy should English like Germany should be all germans or for me it not a national team. A team with foreign coach is not a national team if it's like that just as well have foreign players in the squad as well
Hey Leslie Headland. Then you can enjoy the power of Mannny!
Most English players have international experience, are big names, and have quirky characters. An English coach is more suitable, but I think there is only Howe as good for the national team. In fact, Klopp, Guardiola, even Tuchel could do a lot of things. but the latter has fallen out of favor.
It’s got to be Joseph of biblical fame.
He has a massive understanding on how to get the best out of donkeys 🏴🫏🫏🫏
Why would you hire Steve Cooper to manage England? The point, surely, is to hire someone better than Gareth Southgate. Is Graham Poter going to in the World Cup for England? I'm shocked at journalists' and pundits' suggestions. Quality is key, not that they are English! Potter had a great squad at Chelsea but could not make it work! However, Pochettino turned Chelsea's misfortunes around.
Can't see it. Both are too smart to take on a thankless task. And I would expect they would rather manage their own national teams.
Easy to get Pep to be England manager. Just find Man City guilty of FFP violations. Then Pep will quit! The rest of the top teams will not dare overspend again. And then go find a sponsor to agree to sponsor Pep's salary. Like do a Netflix feature like the Last Dance for the the English football team on its Road to World Cup!
