I’m from the Uk & I’m going out the America come July of this year, watching you has helped me understand what it’s like at a university & how to cope with things being an athlete. You being a lot of positivity and show the reality of it all! Thank you for sharing it
Thank you so much for doing this video! You really gave such good information and I appreciate it so much! Did you have to do go through the NCAA eligibility process fro academics?
Hi! I’m a freshman and am running track right now. I was wondering, how do I sign up for those bigger meets, I’ve only been to meets like for my school but I don’t know how to get to them haha
hi! i'm only a sophomore in high school and our track season starts on monday. i've been running since 7th (minus last year bc of covid). i run sprints, 200m, 4x4, and 4x1 mostly. along with high jump as kinda my main event. do you have any tips or suggestions for me to start doing now in preparation for my future bc i would love to run in college as well and get in to a good school for my academics?
Would you advise going to a school on an athletic scholarship if you know you are not going to do athletics when you leave (but you still love the sport)or should you take an academic scholarship instead
I am currently in 11th grade, and I really started taking track seriously since Sophomore year, but it was cut short due to covid. My PR’s are: - 100m: 12s - 200m: 25.38 - 400m: 56.47 - 800m: 2:15.01 - 1500m: 4:40s-4:50s - 3200m: 9:50s-10:50s - XC(3.1miles): 18:42 Honestly, do you think I could make it to a D1 School? I really want to run at Texas, Kentucky, and Purdue, but I am not sure if I am enough for D1. What do you think? Any advice? Thanks!
@@JalaiyaBartley Also, when emailing college coaches, would it be best to leave general info, academics, athletics, etc in bullet points, or in well developed sentences? Thank you so much!!
These videos make me laugh because the base of it all is “be a fast mf”. Like the videos are stating facts but I missed my whole junior year and my times really suffered rip :/. Im gonna take this info but put it towards DII maybe i can transfer later but thank you so much for the info!

How did you find those big track meets in high school. And how can I find one in my state(nj).
We’re you planning to go pro when you committed or did you know you weren’t going to do track after college?
Did you sign up with the NCAA far as recruitment and eligibility ?
Would you advise going to a school on an athletic scholarship if you know you are not going to do athletics when you leave (but you still love the sport)or should you take an academic scholarship instead
Did you go to the big meets on your own or with your high school’s team?

Should you still contact the question if you’re not running their time standards?
@@JalaiyaBartley I honestly wasn’t expecting you to reply this quick if at all. But thank you so much for the advice
Quick question what made you choose Iowa
And how do you see your national rank?

Do you take PEDs like var or winny ?
